I have to tell you about the worst experience ever. I bought a airmini in May 2022. It has recently started stopping periodically and smelled over heated. I emailed Resmed for help. They said to contact the seller. I explained that I bought it on Resmed shop direct. They emailed and said to contact a local distributor but would say where. I finally found a phone number at Resmed. Called and they said Resmed doesn't service the product but called give me the phone number for Remed Shop. I called Resmed Shop and they said they couldn't help me and referred me back to the main number. I called again (for the 4 time) the main number and they said "sorry". My Resmed cpap machine runs out of water. It runs out of water. This is not good for someone that sleeps 8 hours. This is also not good for someone who has COPD either. For at least 1 hour or more I smell metal plate coming from my Resmed cpap. I have turned off ALL the heat setting but the heat still works. When I pull the water tank. There is water on the metal heat plate inside the machine. I have tried to talk to the store I got it from. They think it is a joke. This is far from a joke. This is my health we are talking about. I had a Philips cpcp for over 10 years. Never had an issue with their machines and they NEVER ran out of water. I am sick of the lack of concern, the lack of care and the overall being of the store and Resmed for such a crappy machine and crappy service. I want answers. I want a machine that works correctly. Or it will leave me no choice but to search legal counsel.Review from Tony M

The machine has cut off or had limited air flow to where I woke from a sound REM sleep to fight the machine getting it off. The first time it stopped totally and there was not air flow and I was being asphixiated. This morning the flow was limited and I had to tear it off, ******* catches would not release, I had to separate the two sections of the mask to get it off. This machine can be dangerous. I just called the ************ to tell them about the problem. There was no monitoring of the number after hours or on the weekend. They need a 24 hour coverage for a medical device that can result in serious consequences to the user.Review from April W

I have had this machine for about 2 years. It has leaked the whole time thinking it was the tank I replaced it no luck. It literally ***** my nose when I use it and have to take it off half way through the night. Also the tank is a two peice system I clean it every 2 days and mold develops in the crease of the tank. This was a $1900 dollar machine and I have severe sleep apnea I am so frustrated and exhausted I just dont know what to do. Dont let your sleep doctor sell you this machine!!Review from Larry G

They are the worst company to deal with. They say one thing and they do the opposite. The company is a bunch of fraud. They charge your insurance company and don't send supplies out when you need it. They been giving me the run around since day one of picking up the machine. Bunch of liers every time you call.Review from georgianne b

Purchased Air Mini 4/2023; have tried using on several occasions,. dissatisfied each time. The system supposedly returned moisture from person's breath; however, within one hour a very sharp burning in my nose awakens me and I have to remove device. Although I've tried applying a moisture product (recommended by my medical provider), their product still doesn't work.This is a very expensive toy - about $2000 worth of connectors and machine - - I just threw it away in the trash since they don't have any way to "rehab" their product. Quite a waste of money and the terrible sleeps are detrimental to my health!I was informed 4 out of 5 customers give good reviews; however, when I attempted to leave a review, their policy states they monitor and limit postings.ResMed Corp Response

No customer service line at **********************. ******* doesn't work. RESMED does not inform doctors or the *** suppliers of the problems with the software and cell tower connections, leaving patients in the dark and Prior Authorizations denied with insurance providers. Sick of paying a lot for insurance and not getting what I'm paying for. Machine under warranty didn't work. Supplies late. RESMED hire more people who can communicate with providers and ultimately the patient. Your forcing socialized medicine. I want private and service. I have my own job. Do yours.Review from Debra G

Hello *****,Thank you for contacting myAir Support. We are sorry to hear that the usage data you had expected to see is not showing within your myAir account. Since your machine may not be transmitting data to myAir for several reasons, lets start by troubleshooting your device setup:1. Did you just register on the same day you tried to view your data? Your therapy data will be available after your first night using the machine following your registration date.2.Verify that your machines power cord is plugged in.3.Check the machines signal strength icon, and verify it has a strong wireless signal (3-5 green bars). A signal strength less than 3 bars may not be strong enough to transmit your therapy data. If the No Wireless Connection icon displays (a circle over the signal strength bars), your machine cannot detect any wireless networks. You may need to move the machine to a different location to obtain a better signal. Your machine requires a cellular wireless network to transmit therapy data.4. Verify that your machine is not set to Airplane mode (on the Home screen, select My Options and scroll down to Airplane Mode). If it is, turn Airplane mode off on your machine.5. Is this the same machine you defined in myAir when you created your account? If not, you will need to change the serial and device numbers in your My Account details on the myAir site.6. Ensure your machine remains powered on for at least an hour after you wake up.If your machines power cord has been continually plugged in, unplug it for 40 seconds and then plug it back in. This resets the machine.8. Please use your machine as normal, and check myAir the next day to confirm your data transmitted as expected.If, after performing the steps above and using your machine for one night, you still do not receive therapy data in myAir, please contact your home medical equipment provider for additional assistance.Find answers to many of your myAir questions on our support page (*************************************************). I contacted ResMed customer service about missing sleep compliancy data from my AirMini and the customer service agent wasn't able to help me and absolutely refused to let me speak to a manager. I kept asking her if she was refusing to let me speak to a manager and she would say no and then she would put me on hold and come back and tell me that they couldn't help me. We went through this process at least 4 times. I asked if we were speaking on a recorded line and i would then ask again, could i speak to a manager, she still refused and in the end, she just hung up on me. I start my warranty process in 2/16/21 and I still dont have a machine. Dreams have escaped.
