I had to change doctors this year as I turned 65 & my new ************* was no longer accepted at Sharp *********************. I called my insurance provider and they gave me a list of doctors in my area. I chose one close to me.Dr M Shaifi was working at Center For Family Health, *****************************************************************. As It was my first appointment, I had to set up a consultation visit on 2/22/2021. I got blood work at another location and had my second visit on 3/15/2021. The doctor informed me he would be moving to a new location that was close to me in Santee and the next appointment would be at that location. I paid $30 copay on my first visit and paid $30 copay on my second visit plus paid the $121.34 **** that was due after insurance adjustments. I just saw him at his new location in Santee in May of this year. My problem is not with the doctor but with Center For Family Health. They keep sending me a **** for what I have already paid. There is no way of me contacting the off site billing.Initial Complaint

I went to the Dermatologist for an urgent appointment today, 8/13/21 at 11 am. I have recurring deep skin facial infections, and one developed right by my eye, creating an emergency. After checking in, they told me ****** Medi-cal no longer works with them, and made me pay $125 out of pocket to be seen. I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen, and they said they would send a prescription for doxycycline to my pharmacy. I called the pharmacy ten minutes later, and they did not get the prescription. I tried to go back inside, but the door was locked and the phone message said the office had closed. It is a Friday, so I am now having to go to an urgent care too to get another doctor to re-write prescription I paid them to take care of. The ******************** won't open again until Monday, and I would be at risk for losing my eye or developing sepsis going so long without my antibiotic. I want a refund and serious repercussions for their negligence. $125 charge attached
