      Medimpact is not transparent. They will allow you to fill medications at a pharmacy "in network" and apply to your deductable even when you have met your deductable. They are really paying nothing towards the Rx. The Rx is really only covered if you fill at a very limited number of pharmacies but, again, they don't tell you that. I finally called and have paid hundreds of dollars over my maximum. I was given instructions on how to file a manual reimbursement form that could take 4-6 weeks.

      Have made a complaint with the ******* ****** of ********* Regulation. They are currently investigating Medimpact Healthcare System. They refuse to approve my prescription to be filled.

      I am currently waiting on a Med Impact supervisor to call me back sine they couldn't take my call right way and explain to me why they cannot cancel the prescription authorization sent to the wrong pharmacy so I can get my **** FLU FILLED AT THE CORRECT PHARMACY SINCE I HAVE THE **** Oh and by the time you get back to me Med Impact all the pharmacies will be closed!!!!!!

      I don't even have med impact!!! I have ********* But medimpact calls me ALL THE ******* They called this past Saturday and Sunday at 8am (!!!)saying something about a prior med authorization. But when I called they couldn't tell me what med they called ME about!!!!! Idiots...scam.

      They take 3-5 business days to ship my insulin and wont let me buy medicine out of pocket even if I provide a prescription. If I was being forced to use this company by my terrible health insurance (Aetna). They dont have anyone to hold them accountable for their terrible customer service so the treat you like c*** If I could give them zero stars I would.

      This company that covers RX for Novant Health ** the worse. Denies my RX with a note because my MD is not a bariatric **. Been on my meds for one year and I mean all requires by the *** and they say no. And Im out of meds. The worse RX company ever. They will not listen to reason after weeks of test and paperwork jumping tho hoops they still deny.

      My employer just started going through Medimpact for prescription meds. Ive been on specific medications for years with no issues. Now Medimpact denied my medication due to their prior authorization requirements. They are making it very difficult for me to get my medication. My physician is jumping through hoops to get them everything they want including lab work?! Isnt this why I have a trained medical provider, who interprets labs results & knows my medical history, to decide if I need a medication? Medimpact then informed me that after they get the information they requested, that it will take 1-2 weeks to see if its approved! Meanwhile Im without my medication! Horrible insurance company. Scary.

      There is no negative star option, unfortunately. Humana ** ******** partnered with MedImpact about a year ago and ever since my (already difficult to access) coverage has become almost impossible to use due to MedImpact's onerous Prior Authorization requirements, which make most ******** physicians unable or unwilling to deal with them. As a result I have found it next to impossible - and a full time job - just to receive basic medical necessities, like the special eyedrops I have been using for twenty years due to the facial paralysis which makes my right eye unable to produce any tears. Shameful. De facto discrimination against the disabled population who have more needs and are simultaneously less able to jump through their numerous hoops.

      My wife has been denied so many medications, even after several appeals with plenty of documentation. This company lacks communication skills as well as people with knowledge who do their review process. They jeopardize the health of the patient by making them use drugs that are cheaper and have been proven not to work. They take forever to ship a medication which could be lifesaving. They are putting patients at risk. It is like they have a monopoly on the drugs choices they make you take even against doctors orders. They should be investigated. Why they make a patient get lifesaving drugs from a mail-order pharmacy that is across ***************** instead of allowing them to choose one in their own town is a recipe for disaster. The worst thing our insurance company ever did was to hook up with these people. All to save a buck but could cost you your life. To say I have watched the stressful situations and unhealthy turns my wife has gone through while spending weeks on end with these people as well as her doctors spending weeks on end trying to get her medications approved is sickening.
