We donated our car for charity through this organization and despite numerous calls have yet to receive our tax form (IRS 1098C). This document is required to file our taxes which are now late. Our donation was made 1/24/2022 in the amount of $3050.00. The vehicle was a 2008 ****** Prius, VIN #JTDKB2OU387740923. We received a letter from the company verifying the transaction, but the tax form was not provided. There is information on the tax form that must be submitted to the ****Business response

I donated a vehicle on 01/21/2023. I gave them a signed title when they picked up the van. The department of motor vehicles has notified me that I need to renew my vehicle registration and provide proof of insurance. I want them to provide the department of motor vehicles with the change of title.The vehicle vin number is *****************Business response

I donated my vehicle to Charity and Adult Rides (CARS), however the vehicle title and registration transfer was never completed by CARS. I continue to get violation and impound notices for the vehicle. I have called and emailed the point of contact for registrations at CARS (someone named ******** however he has not responded. My first contact with them regarding the registration was in February and I have received 2 additional notices (June and July). Attached are relevant documents.Business response

Hello,
We understand that receiving notices after you donated a vehicle is frustrating, which is why we have a Care Team to assist you with any issues which may arise as a result of vehicle transfers. Every once in a while, when a buyer doesnt transfer the vehicle title into their name, there can be issues for the previous owner. Were so sorry this happened to you. In these instances, we work to help all parties until the issue is resolved, at no expense to the donor.
