I was telephoned this afternoon 5/25 at approx. 4pm, the caller said that his name was Ian, representing climber.com, he ran through his first pitch which i commented was no different from other agencies, he told me I was obviously not listening and went through it again, i stated it sounded similar to the processes id been through with other agencies to which he blasted stop wasting my time twice ! what i found funny in all of this , is he called me. a faceless autobot salespitch, poorly executed and sounds like climber have a systemic problem in their sales force

Upon speaking to the Climber.com representative in question he presented a much different scenario. That being said, this user has been removed from our database, and should not receive any further communication from Climber.com.Review from Ed M

Caller from Climber was fine, up to a point. Then, once he realized that I would not give him a credit card, he started along line of "stop wasting my time." Very unprofessional. Borderline harassing. I would never do business with them, based on this interaction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Except from email, "Here is some more information about Climber, and our services to help job seekers.Climber is a network that allows you access to hiring managers of over 79,000 companies. We are a membership driven service. We do not charge the employers a fee on the back end and, in turn, the employers are more likely to select our qualified candidates. Not only do we not charge the employer, we also have pre-qualified our candidates so the employer knows that they won’t have to filter through a litany of unqualified candidates.This is exactly why we have been able to secure procurement for our members in about 2 – 4 months."Climber.com Response

I have just started my career transition search again and saw climber.com and filled out their application. I was contacted by one of the reps out of Nashville and thought I would listen to their pitch. After listening to the pitch, which he was hard selling, I said I would like Do you think about it. He offered a 30 day moneyback deal but I still wanted to think about it and I told him I’ll think about it over the weekend and call them back. All of a sudden he got rude and said I was wasting his time and hung up on me. Not a way to endear yourself to possible clients.Climber.com Response

If this is a reputable company, their call center should have a phone system that is recording the conversations for training and quality control purposes. If they do have a system that records the calls and interactions then they need to pull the call up and listen to it again. Nothing I stated in the original post is inaccurate nor false. It is a fair representation of our conversation.
