  After researching different foldable ebikes, I ordered the Portola from Ride1Up. The bicycle arrived very quickly and my husband put it together in about 40 minutes. Then we went for our first ride. I love this bicycle!! I can get it in and out of the car myself, and it has quite a few bells and whistles that I didn't expect. And the team at Ride1Up was excellent to work with when I goofed up the order. They were flexible and went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Ride1Up - and hope my husband will order his new Ride1Up bike soon.

  I dont post reviews very often, but really wanted to in this case. Recently bought a ***** and have several hundred miles on it now. This is the second bike I have owned from this company.I have always had very good luck when reaching out to customer service in the 4+ years we have owned Ride1Up bikes. I know everyones experience is different, but I will leave you with this story- when I was installing the stem and tightening it down when putting the ***** together, I likely went a little too tight and stripped one of the threads on one side. I contacted support, ended up talking to ***** himself (one of the founders), and no questions asked he said that since they did not have the parts shipment in yet for spare parts to send me a replacement, that they would reimburse me for a new stem on Amazon (and also guided me on some good options to order). I did not take them up on them reimbursing me, as looking back I am sure it was install error on my part. But to me, that is great customer service and makes me want to continue to buy from them in the future.

  Great value bikes. Half the price of competitors for equal spec bikes. I think they usually have much more attractive styling in comparison as well.

  Good value for the price of the Turris model.I have only used the bike a few times and find it to be a good value for the price.Printed instructions are provided but omit some crucial information requiring a ******* tutorial that remains lacking. Some of the items have defects such as warped and twisted rods and fenders but nothing that couldn't be corrected. The valve stem on the front wheel was missing the valve and the wheel required truing.The tires made very annoying, scraping sounds as they rubbed against the very close-fitting fenders. A bit of twisting and bending was necessary to correct the situation.There is no instructions or obvious indicators to use the headlamp/taillight.The speed selector is annoyingly loose and down-shifts unexpectedly on rough terrain.The only thing really lacking is a suspension option for the rear to soften the ride witch gets pretty harsh on urban streets.The power is consistent and adequate but feels jerky when you ease on the throttle and reapply power on hills.I trust that should this product be manufactured in the *** all of the issues could be corrected, expeditiously.

  I purchased my Cafe Cruiser two months ago and after 600 miles Im still loving it! I get the advertised 30 through 50 mile range from a full battery. The bike is very comfortable, I enjoy the upright position. The bike was packaged well and arrived undamaged in a timely manner. Assembly was straightforward and I had no issues. The instructional videos were helpful. Ive been using the Cafe Cruiser for commuting, but its so fun to ride that Ive done some longer rides too. The Cafe Cruiser performed well on 40 miles rides and could easily make it to the advertised 50 miles on level terrain. Ive contacted customer support a few times and they have been quick to respond and helpful. For cruising around town the Cafe Cruiser is great! I would definitely consider Ride1Up if I ever purchase another e-bike.

  Purchased our first e-bike, a Ride1UP Cafe Cruiser in June, received a couple weeks later and quickly completed the easy assembly. I had anticipated this being a bike that allows my wife and I to enjoy biking together as a comfortable e-bike could provide her the comfort needed while allowing me to be challenged more on long rides. And, as hoped, she like it right away. So, purchased our 2nd one about 2 weeks after the first and we've been enjoying rides together since. Ride1UP has delivered on solid performance and quality at an atypically affordable price point for an e-bike. Highly recommend, particularly if you have not taken the plunge into e-bikes yet.

  I purchased a Rift ST about 2 months ago. Now I am a 300 lb, 5'11" man, looking to get back into some sort of shape. The bike arrived in about 3 weeks and in good condition. While nicely packaged, some contents had come out of the smaller boxes located at the bottom of the carton. Assembly was easy enough, but I did need to realign the back wheel and the brake. It still drags just a hair, so I am probably going to need somewhere better at bike repair than me, which isn't saying much. Despite all that, I recently went on a 20 mile bike ride using only peddle assist. What a pleasure that was. Now, being a bigger individual, that 20 mile ride ate up about 75-80% of the battery. Keep that in mind when looking at the range stated and what is actually going to happen, based on weight. Some have commented that the handle bars could be higher for taller individuals. While the height didn't bother me, I can see their point, so also keep that in mind. However, from top to bottom, I have enjoyed riding this bike and looking forward to many more rides.
