Nelson Partners manages ********** apartments in ****** ******. Our lease ended in June 2023 and we received a letter detailing deductions. Our son is the student on the lease. ***************************** is his name. Us parents are ************** so we are on the lease as well. We are supposed to receive $133.61 after deductions. I do not even want to discuss the validity of the deductions. We have contacted the manager repeatedly and she said she cannot help us. Another parent told me that they received their security deposit refund in October 2023. Their lease also ended in June 2023. They gave me the phone number for the managing business in ************, ************. We have been calling and leaving VM messages. We just want our refund.

I moved out of The Vue on MacGregor, ******* *****, on May 21, 2021 and have not received my security deposit check of $1291.52. I have been in constant contact with them since I moved out but was told to contact the new ownership, ********* Properties for my money. I filed a complaint with ********* and they explained that Nelson Partners should have paid me. It has been a continuous back and forth with no success of a company taking accountability to pay me. Nelson Partners previously explained, around March of 2023, that within the ledger it shows that ********* is supposed to pay me. ********* has not been in contact with me and Nelson Partners will not take responsibility.

I was shown an apartment with a tub and was never told that the units may come without a tub. When I moved into my apartment it has a shower only. I need the tub for soaking my joints from an injury years ago. I have also been given a unit that doesnt have a microwave and is smaller than the unit I was shown. When I went to management, I was told that they dont have to provide me with those items but every unit around me has a microwave provided and the stool that is missing I feel they are using deceptive practices and even discrimination because Im not being given what I was shown and what other units have inside. Im a tall person and the unit seems to be equipped with appliances for some one in a wheelchair. Id like to receive a unit with the tub, chair, microwave and proper appliances in it. Thank you for any help with what my options are because mama meant says they cant do anything about the unit. They also so told me they didnt show me a unit like mind when I came for a tour, but thats not true. I took pictures of the unit I was shown and I do have them.

I signed a lease for a studio apartment. When it came time to move in, the studio is not like the model I was shown. It is a handicapped unit with items missing from the furnished room and no tub. I have pictures of what the model looked like and what it had. The management is telling me I have to except less than what I was shown or asked for. I am contacting a lawyer as well for legal actions. Its missing the microwave and stool. Its smaller as well. Here are four pictures of the difference from the model shown and two actual areas.

My daughter was a tenant for nearly three years at one of this company's apartment complexes call ******************. The lease ended in August 2022. I was notified back in early September 2022 that we were due payment of $795 and that a check for that amount would be sent in the mail. It never came. After a few months, I called to see what the hold up was. Since then, I have contacted them many times, I have been bounced around, told it's "in the mail", "it will be forthcoming", etc. I've never received the payment. Now when I call no one will respond. We paid them literally $30,000 during the time my daughter was in school in **********, and not a single rent payment was ever late, even during Covid when she wasnt even living there. So the fact that they refuse to pay the $795 refund that is contractually due to me is beyond ridiculous. This is fraudulent and a breach of contract. Looking at their ****** reviews, I now see that this fraudulent behavior is normal practice for them, yet they continue to remain in business. If they are withholding funds that should be paid to past tenents for say even 100 other people, thats nearly $100k they are withholding and also earning interest on. If its for hundreds of tenants (which I suspect it is), then that is hundreds of thousand of dollars.

I was required to pay ***** on August 31st, 2020 when I moved in and was supposed to receive a security deposit after July 31st, 2021 when I moved out of the VUE on Macgregor. I received an email that said I was supposed to I have been given the run around since they changed management several times and I still haven't received anything. I would like to get my money back. according to ***** property law Section ****** allows the tenant to *** the landlord to recover three times the portion of the deposit wrongfully withheld plus other fees. I would like $4300 to include other fees like a cash advance I had to take as a result of not having the money.

I moved out of the Auraria Student Lofts in July 2021. I was told I would received my security deposit by the end of October. I did not receive it, and in every correspondence with the Auraria Student Lofts I was told that they changed management and that Nelson Partners Student Housing was responsible with getting me my deposit back. I have since then sent a large amount of emails to the email they list publicly ******************************************************* both from my personal email and from my school email. Apart from that, I have had several phone conversations: I have left messages and talked to several members of their team who all assured me that they would get back in touch with me about the deposit. It has now been 7 months since my first call to Nelson Partners. I have continuously called and contacted them since and never got any response other than "We will get back to you." I could really use the money and there are days that having that money could have made the difference between me being able to get to interviews or not, me being able to pay rent fully on time or not etc. Their lack of attention has been a huge inconvenience and cost me money in the long run since I initially counted on getting that money relatively quickly. I just want my security deposit back and there is no doubt in my mind that they are hoping I will forget about it and leave it. I will not.

i am adding an additional complaint to include context from my original complaint. I have included screenshots of the following: - an email from **** promising that i would be able to move in by 2/15. - an email from *** stating that i would have ************************ from 2/18 to 3/1. - an email from *** stating that they could no longer offer me accommodations unless they were at my cost. I expect the following resolutions: - to be provided with temp housing at no costs to me from 2/18 through 3.1 - to have all fees associated with this relocation waived - assistance with moving into and from temporary housing, and into my new permanent space - an apology for the lack of concern and overall negligence towards what happened to me.
