5 starsI just called Forge Trust and had representative *************************** help me.Having just moved into a new home, over the last two months, I have had to deal with many service representatives from utility companies to service providers. By far, ******* was the best representative I've dealt with in a long time! Great customer service! He made me feel so at ease with a complicated request.Way to go *******Forge Trust

1 starForge Trust is the custodian of a investment I made with PetroRock which is now a bad asset due to fraud. A class action lawsuit has been settled with *********, but because of a potential payout I cant close the account with Fort **********************. If I were to close it, Forge Trust would send a 1099 to the *** which I would have a tax liability on the full amount of my investment. I cant move the account to a more favorable IRA ******* because I cant get anybody at ********* to re-title the note. Forge Trust is aware of all this, but are unwilling to lower or wave the quarterly fee ($85) even though they are doing nothing to earn it. They are a terrible company with zero compassion for the investor. There are much better IRA services out there, do your research.Forge Trust

5 starsI had been a customer of ****************** for several years. In general, their customer service has been good. In these days of dying customer service and a propensity for companies to not answer the phone, Forge not only answers the phone, but they do so quickly. I came to expect this type of service. However, I had one last call to Forge to close my account, due to the failed asset in the account (not a result of anything Forge did or did not do). **************** was consistently good, but on this last call I came across a gem. Her name is ***********************. Although I was closing my account, she provided me with exemplary service. She sent me the paperwork and assisted me with its completion. She waited patently as I slowly emailed my completed paperwork back to her. Before we ended this call, *********************** made sure everything was in order. What a great job. 5 starsThe folowing review began as an attempt on my part to finalize a distribution from my *** account, a required minimum distribution. Due to a failure on my part, the required funds were not actually in my account. The lady I was dealing with could not have been any nicer, patient or understanding as to helping to resolve my issue. I am not a techie type individual and at times i became very frustrated, She was calming and took her time explaining what I had to do. In the end WE got the issue resolved. again ******* was very good to work with. If I had a business that dealt with customers, I would want ******************************* as a part of my team.***************************Forge Trust

1 starThey fabricated a distribution and reported it to the **** Afterwards ***** from compliance told me that they would notify the *** that they made a mistake if I paid their outrageous fees. If bad service and high fees is all you get from Forge, consider yourself fortunate.Forge Trust

Forge Trust *** is the custodian for Client's self-directed *** account and as such provides safekeeping and administrative services for the *** owners. As a directed custodian, Forge Trust follows the direction of the account owner for all matters involving the ***, including the selection and retention of the assets held in the *** account. In 2017, the Client liquidated most of his self-directed *** account with ****************** but a balance remained in the account until May of 2022, when Forge closed the account because the Client had not paid fees for the preceding five years. As required by federal law, Forge Trust issued a ****-R to reflect the distribution of the remaining value of the *** account to the account owner as part of closing the account due to non-payment of fees. If the value of the asset(s) held in the IA had changed, it is the duty of the account owner to notify Forge using the valuation update form, which is emailed to all account owners annually, and is available on our website. Furthermore, if he wished to close the account, an account closing form is required. Because no updated valuation form or account closure form was received, and the account continued to hold asset(s) with apparent value, the account remained open. We sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction expressed by our customer but ****************** has acted in accordance with the *** ********* and state and federal laws, along with adhering to its fee schedule(s). However, because the customer reached out earlier this year but we were not able to resolve the issue, management has decided to waive the fees accrued on his account. In addition, we are in the process of updating and reissuing the ****-R for tax year 2022.Forge Trust

5 starsI had a complicated problem with my IRA ********** in Forge Trust. There were several layers that had to be evaluated and dealt with. When I connected with *********************************** in the ********************** she and her team went to work getting it straightened out. She contacted me daily by email to make sure I was aware of all the inner workings and the progress on my issue until it was resolved. She always answered my calls and messages. I'm incredibly grateful for the diligent customer service!Forge Trust

I was initially unclear on the details of setting up a self-directed **** The folks at Forge Trust assisted me immensely and made the entire process seamless. My self-directed *** has been an invaluable tool in preparing for my retirement, and I couldn't have set it up without the helpful support from the team at Forge Trust. I have read some negative reviews, primarily regarding FT's fees. I read their policies and fee schedule ahead of making my investments and have not experienced any unexpected or excessive fees.
