I financed a 2017 Kia ****** I put 6K down I drove the car a few days no issues my third day with the vehicle the check engine light came on. I then went back to the dealer informed them that my car has a check engine light on right after purchasing. They told me theyd fix the issue cause its minor and the sensor just needs to get changed. The car hasnt been fixed and Im afraid to get stuck with a bad car. I have to repos on my credit history because of situations like this and I didnt know how to handle that. They wont fix the car, they wont put me in a different car of equal value, they wont give me a refund either. I do have text messages from them saying they will fix the car and nothing is happening. I dont feel they have been honest about the car (they told me the car is good but immediately after I get it the check engine light is on) they wont fix it or put me in something new. I put 6K down thats a lot of money. I wanted to build my credit and get a reliable car in the same process this isnt what I was looking for and I need help. They new the car wasnt good and didnt care. There wasnt a warranty available either cuz I definitely wouldve paid extra just to guarantee I dont get put in a bad situation. Ive done everything correct on my end they havent produced on theirs.Business response

THIS IS RESPONCE BACK TO THE CLAIM MADE BY ******************, FIRST OF ALL WE VALE EVERY CUSTOMER, WE TAKE THE **** TO HEAR ALL CONCERNS AND ISSUES THEY MIGHT HAVE DOWN THE ***** ******************* HAS A COMPLAINT THAT HIS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS CAME ON AFTER 3 DAYS FROM PURCHASE.
HE CALLED ** TO LET ** KNOW THE LIGHT CAME ON, IMMEDIATLEY WE TOLD HIM TO COME BY SO WE CAN TAKE A LOOK AND DIAGNOSE THE **** EVEN THOUGH HE PURCHASED THE *** AS-IS NO WARRANTY. AFTER WE DIAGNOSED THE *** WE FOUND OUT
THE AIR FLAP WASNT OPERATING CORECTLY, AND THIS IS CAUSED BY DRIVING THE *** ON THE FREEWAY AND SOMETHING HIT THE **** AND CAUSED IT TO MAULFUNCTION. WE TOLD HIM SINCE YOU JUST BOUGHT THE *** AND IT WAS RECENT AFTER THE PURCHASE
THAT WE WOULD TAKE ***E OF IT AT NO EXTRA COST!!!!! WE COMPLETED THE REPAIR FOR ****************** AND AFTER A COUPLE DAYS HE CALLED ** BACK AND SAID THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON!!!! WE AGAIN TOLD HIM NO PROBLEM DONT WORRY JUST COME BACK AND WE WILL TAKE ***E OF YOU!!!
BUT ***************************** RATHER OPEN A COMPLAIN WITH BBB. WE CONTACTED HIM AND HE TOLD **, HE IS WILLING TO PULL THE **** AND DROP ANY CLAIM AGAIST JALA AUTO SALES!!!!! WE PROMISED TO HELP HIM OUT AND TAKE ***E OF HIS VEHICLE LIKE
WE TAKE ***E OF ALL OUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY 20 YEARS IN BUINESS!!!!!! WE ALSO HAVE ALL HIS TEXT MESSEGES AGREEING THAT HE WILL TAKE OUR HELP AND DROP THE **** !!!!!!!! SINCE HE HASNT RESPONDED BACK TO ** UNTIL THIS POINT WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO RESPOND BACK TO THE CLAIM

1) ****************** DECIDED TO GO BEHINED OUR BACK AFTER AGREEING TO TAKE OUR HELP AND ASSISTANCE HE WENT AND OPEND ****.
2) ****************** DROVE THE *** BEFORE HIS PURCHASE AND HE AGREED THE *** IS FULLY OPERATIONAL AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT
3) ****************** BOUGHT HIS *** AS -IS NO WARRANTY, AFTER WE OFFERED HIM ALL KINDS OF WARRANTY THAT COVER ANYTHING DOWN THE *****WE ATTACHED ALL THESE FORMS WITH THE CLAIM
4) THERE IS NOTHING TO OFFER ****************** ANY FURTHER. *** SOLD AS IS AND WE HAVE ALL DOCUMENTATION ON FILE.

I am rejecting this response because: they didnt fix the issue. Multiple things keep happening with the car literally days after purchase and still a few weeks after purchasing. Nobody should buy a car and immediately have issues. Im missing work every time I have to go in and get the car looked at. I have plenty of text admitting I just want the car fixed which is my only concern but they havent fixed it and refuse to fix it resetting check engine lights dont fix problems. I called the bank as well and they said if the car isnt good they are willing to scrap my contract cuz I told them I cant afford another bad car from a side lot. Jala said no!!!! I put 6K down and Im having nothing but trouble with the car how is this ok?Business response
