Went to ************** on 2/26/2023 I found a vehicle I was interested in on ********* I contacted the person via Messenger we agreed to meet at *************************************. I did notice the tire pressure light ************ asked "****" his response was as he scratched his head, hesitating he responded "the tires might need air, no big deal." We test drove the car, no issues. Made the purchase with "***" & agreed to make payments every 15th of the month through "Zelle". We gave $6,700 as a down payment. I have messages, texts saved for evidence if you need them. When we came back to Ukiah about a week later we noticed that the car was blowing blue smoke when turning it on, I then Contacted "***" he suggested me to take it back to ********** so that he can have one of his "guys" look at it. I stated we couldn't because of work & my 2 little kids. So "***" suggested we take it via tow but that was going to be way to expensive. So I took it to a car shop here in Ukiah "Affordable Automotive Repair". The mechanic said it had "cylinder valves issues & machine ************* issues" I then started to get frustrated because a week with the car and it was already in a shop getting fixed. The mechanic told me it'd be $4,500 to get it fixed, that the issue was on going before I even purchased it. Then I contacted "***" told him what I was told, he said "that mechanic was full of ****." I told him I wanted to get the car fixed, I didn't find it fair that more money was going to have to come out of my pocket to get it fixed. I did mention I would take legal action if necessary. I reached out to "***" 3/13/23 my payment was going to have to be paid on the 22nd, he agreed. No communication with him, then 3/22/23 since 8:35AM have been trying to get a hold of "***" to make payment, he completely ghosted me all day. Left several voicemails/text, nothing. Car got "repo" with no warning 3/22 afternoon. *** mentioned we would get instructions in the mail & blocked bot ******* husband.
