      Last three orders have been completely botched. Lamp posts didnt fit lamps despite the website pairing the two together. Had to pay an electrician about $300.00 to modify the lamp posts to make them work as I waited two months to get the electrician. I told the customer service rep this issue in the context of the other issues mentioned below. Before I finished, she said let me guess, our website paired the two items together. This shows me my experience is not uncommon.A Flos lamp came in damaged. It happens, but Im now three weeks out and still no refund. Hopefully, it will show up. Most recently, I ordered an open box special Drip Lamp. They sent the wrong lamp. I still wanted the lamp I ordered, but they refused to accommodate unless I paid an additional $440.00. Stated they cant do anything about it and cant possibly give me a new lamp for what I paid for the open box. So, to get the refund I get to spend my time and fuel driving the wrong lamp to **** Complete and utter inconvenience. Why cant they schedule a *** pick up?? Probably more money for them. What a waste of my time and money. And further salt in the wound is they simply dont care about all the time and money I have into dealing with their s**** **** Ill never again shop Lumens.com and I will spread the word.

      Can I give zero stars? **************** was terrible. Their site refreshed during check out after having a tab open looking at products. I needed three light bulbs for the product I ended up choosing. All the former products added to cart must have refreshed, because they werent there at checkout. Well, I was charged for them all and they will not accept the returns on the bulbs. No if ands or buts, just an it is what it is attitude. I hate when companies dont stand by their platforms or products. First and last time shopping with them.

      They are horrible! While products may be nice, their accounting department sucks! We purchased almost 10k in pendants for a new house and paid in full via PayPal last June. Now in December we receive a collection notice for $418 from a collection agency! They say they sent notices, never received anything! Have receipt of payment and PayPal statement and they still say not their issue! we pride ourselves on great credit, this is an absolute horrible experience! We will post this everywhere so others know what kind of company they are!!!!

      I placed an order with Lumens in June of 2023. This was for a backordered item which would ship in 4-6 weeks. They emailed me in August saying the ship date was pushed to October. Once the item shipped, there were delivery issues. *** and Lumens never got it together, although I reached out multiple times and requested a pickup at a local *** facility and did not communicate with me throughout the process. Today, 11/30/23, I still have not received my order or my refund. I've reached out to Lumens at least 8 times, and have not received a refund or an appropriate response. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from a company, at this point it feels like a scam. Do not recommend. Lumens- give me my money back.

      In reviewing your account we show several attempts to have the missing order sent to you.  The latest replacement shipped on 12/7 and is currently in transit to you.  IF you still wish to return the item for a full refund please contact us right away an we will start a return for the full price of the item.

      Web site said item was available to ship in 2-3 days. Follow-up confirmation said item would not ship for 2 months. Failure to meet basic standard for truth in advertising.

      We apologize that the item you ordered was not available. We does strive to have the most accurate inventory availability reflected on our site, however there are unfortunate cases where a product may show available online but may only have limited stock, or a order for the same item was placed at a similar time and consumed the available stock. This is stated in the Terms and Conditions on our site.

      terrible company: you cannot return anything installed, yet you do not know it is defective or poor quality until it is installed. Look at the return list of exclusions. we purchased a ceiling fan: so loud. I think this company is removing negative reviews;

      We show that the fan in question has a return started for it, as it is defective due to the noise it is making. Discretionary returns cannot be taken for installed items, however if an item is defective that is an exception.

      Poor quality product. Lumens does not stand behind their products. This lamp does no longer works after 2 years. I paid $548 a lamp that cannot be repaired or returned nor replaced. I brought the lamp to a lighting store for repair. They strongly suggested that it be returned to the place I purchased it as it was not fixable. The company that sold the lamp should replace the light as it should still be working after 2 years. So, Lumens trouble shooting plan was for me to purchase a new dimmer switch first to rule out the switch. If that does not resolve the problem replace the base of the lamp. Cost of dimmer switch was $67. Cost of base unit was $434. Their suggestions for the repair was not supported or backed by them. So I could still end up with a non-working light. Their suggestion, which they cannot stand behind would nearly equal the cost of the light itself. If you want to get ripped off then this is your lighting store.

      Buyer beware. I placed a large order ($`15,000) and received a small portion of the order. After a month I am still missing $13k in lighting and cannot get any help from Lumens. I've been told multiple times I will get a call back after they check into it and no one ever calls me back. I've called multiple times.They claim it was stolen off of a loading dock and never shipped. But that is not for me to solve. Meanwhile I have a builder waiting for lighting and Lumens will not figure anything out or offer to help. Very disappointed!!! Again, buyer beware!

      It's not the company, it's the lack of costumer service, common sense and ability to be compassionate with consumers. A neighbor recommended I purchase my sconces through Lumens as she had previous positive experiences with them. Upon the arrival of my order, which was prompt and speedy without issues, I delayed the installation as I had other pending projects going on that took priority. I recently had my electrician install the sconce and the color was clearly not what I ordered. I contacted Lumens and the treatment and mishandling of the situation was baffling to say the least. The ONLY manager (****) and another customer service rep, did not agree with all the proof I sent of the sconce being a completely different color than what was on their website. He blamed it on the "studio lighting" which I thought was bizarre and a poor excuse to remedy the issue. To be clear, and I shared this with him, I was not looking for a refund. I was simply looking for an exchange. Because the ordered had been placed in December and I had the sconce installed in April (never opened the box since), **** felt it was my fault for not verifying the color of the sconce prior to opening it, followed by questioning why I was installing it 4 months later. He offered to reach out to the manufacturer (deflecting from *****'s false advertisement per the pictures), and when I didn't hear from him, I reached out again. He claims the manufacturer said that nothing could be done and that the color I received was exactly what I selected. Lies. I contacted the manufacturer (A19) and was told that he did in fact reach out, but that they were willing to work with me. He NEVER shared that with me. If I was the owner of Lumens, I would not want someone with ****** demeanor working for me let alone deal with customer service. A19 has gone above and beyond helping me resolve an issue that ****, representing Lumens, failed to do so. And thanks to him, Lumens has lost a client.

      We apologize for the frustration you have experienced regarding the wall sconce arriving with the incorrect finish, and that you had to work directly with A19 to resolve the problem. While this issue was reported outside of our stated time frames for returns and replacements, it should have been handled in a different manner, as A19 stated that they were willing to help resolve the issue.

      It took six weeks to get my credit after these items were verifiably returned to LUMENS. First, only $2,000 was returned three weeks after received back to LUMENS with multiple phone calls. Then more phone calls begging to get the $1000 balance 2 months after return initiated. Never will I ever order from LUMENS again. This company lost a very substantial customer. Caveat emptor. Not recommended.
