2/27/2022 I went through THUMBTACK and found AFFORDABLE PAINTING SERVICES. I needed to replace some siding and whole house painted. (I'm guessing they are subcontractors to RCI INTEGRATED CONTRUCTION in **********, ** since they processed my payments). The end of Feb. ******************************************************** need of repair. Affordable Painting Services contacted me through gmail on 2/28/22 I was told **** siding boards and paint with materials, would be $2350. In the meantime, in April I had my home warranty come check out the siding to make sure there was no structural damage. they said it was ok just needed siding/paint replaced. ***** came out 5/9/2022 and quoted $7600.00-8000. to 1) power *************) replace dry rot siding (3) cover windows and floor? (4) spray house same color (5) paint trim same color. He came out on 6/3 & 6/4/2022 to complete work. at the end total paid was NOW $9270.00 I rarely go on that side of the house and did not notice the chipping until approx. mid-July 2023 when i was cutting a tree down out front. I contacted ***** he said was going to charge me $750 to repair chipped boards. (Course, he hadn't seen it yet and est. kept changing) Was going to meet ***** but first week of Sept. I had a family emergency and had to go out of state, so I had postponed our appt. I contacted ***** on 9/18/23 he said he would check availability but i yet to hear from him. my issue is that it appears that the paint may have been watered down (I have a large bucket ***** had left behind) and trim is peeling away also. but after 14 months why is a paint job I paid a lot of $$ for already peeling off! Whole house will need to be redone in GOOD FRESH (not diluted) Paint. I am also questioning boards used it appears to be not treated maybe that's why the paint started chipping so quickly? At this point I do not trust them and would prefer to get refunded $4500.00 to cover the cost of a new painter/ boards replaced.
