I called around May 5, 2023 to arrange a move for May 14, 2023. I spoke on the phone with *****. I explained it was a 3-bedroom house with a lot of stuff. He told me it would be 3 men at $199/hr minimum 3 hours ($600). Instead 2 guys showed up with a U-Haul that was not big enoufh for $159/hr. One of them was the owner's son, ***,who insisted that's what I arranged, but it's not. Because it was only 2 men it took over 5 hours & cost $900. They were slow, inefficient, kept bumping into things, and broke some wood on the stairs of the rental I'm moving out of that now I have to pay to repair.At the delivery house I showed them the way in through the garage because it had more room to maneuver but instead they went in the front door with a large piece of furniture and got stuck. They hit the ceiling light, then *** said "this f****** door handle!" twice while working the furniture back out the door. They kept running into door frames, and stacked boxes marked "books" on top of boxes marked "dishes-fragile". *** kept coming over to see how I was doing when he was supposed to be unloading the truck and asked if I had a boyfriend or kids (I'm a woman). Then he asked me out in a date and I shook my head no. Then when they were finished and I was signing the paperwork he asked me in a date again. I told him I don't date.*** called 30 minutes after they left saying my credit card wasn'tgoing through. He read the number back to me and it was correct but he said it was still declining so I gave him a different card. I then called my bank who told me it was declined because *** entered the wrong expiration date. Before he got off the phone *** said "Well if you change your mind now you have my number" leading need to believe he intentionally entered the card information wrong so he would have anexcuse to call me.Pat menioned several times that it's his dad's company. This is an unprofessional outfit with incompetent staff.Business response
