  I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the legal representation I received from Attorney ***** ******** and her firm, ********************************************* LLP in the lead up and during a support modification hearing on June 2, 2025. I initially retained Ms. ******** to assist with my divorce several years ago. While we were ultimately able to reach agreements on custody, division of property, and support terms, there were multiple unresolved issues that have caused ongoing complications. In late 2024, I contacted Mende to address a reconsideration of my support numbers due to a decline in my income. Ultimately, we ended up in court in June 2025, due to the lack of responsiveness from my ex-wife. While in court, it was clear that ***** was unprepared for my case and had not thoroughly reviewed my paperwork. There was no game plan or meeting before the appearance, even after I had asked what else we could be doing to make sure we were prepared for the hearing. She did not have documents in my hard copy file when the judge requested them, yet they were provided to her and her team months in advance. We were required to calculate support figures during a short recess from the hearing. Mende, without my consent and no discussion, presented documentation to the court that had a hugely negative impact on me. When the court was called back in session, I felt forced to accept what MY COUNSEL had presented to the court. The documentation she provided was not asked for or required by the opposing party or the judge. ***** took it upon herself to present it, without discussing it with me. This is my main point of contention with her. My hope is that by bringing this to the attention of the **************************, ************************** and the Better Business Bureau, other individuals will be spared the distress, financial loss, and lack of professional support that I endured.   One Star Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience Im writing this review to caution others about the extremely unprofessional experience my family member had with Mende ****** ******** . I was helping a family member secure legal representation and they reached out to what I thought was a reputable company.From the very beginning, ****** demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. She rolled her eyes during the conversation, smacked her lips, and made it clear through her body language and tone that she wasnt interested in truly helping. When my family member calmly and respectfully shared that they didnt feel it was the right fit and asked what they could pay her for her time, ***** responded, nothing, and abruptly hung up the call.That type of behavior is not only rude, its completely unacceptable in any professional setting, especially one where individuals are seeking legal guidance during sensitive situations. My family member approached the consultation in good faith and was met with unwarranted attitude and disrespect.There are many reputable, compassionate, and professional attorneys out there who take pride in their work and the way they treat people. Unfortunately, based on this experience, Mende is not one of them. I do not recommend her services and urge others to proceed with caution.
