This company installed garage door in 2017. Garage door decorative ****** started coming off from chalking. Emailed them on 07/26/2023 and they responded on 07/26/2023 saying that they can come repair this but it will be billable.I emailed door manufacturer directly as according to warranty condition any product section against peeling, cracking or chalking of the original factory-applied coating is covered under life-time warranty. Manufacturer when saw the photographs of the damage confirmed to me in writing that door got painted against their recommended standards by the contractor and that got life-time warranty void.Several email messages sent to contractor but they have stopped responding after one initial email.Business response

My garage door got broken and ordered a replacement panel of my garage door on 2022/07 from original builders company EasyLift and claim it is an urgent need for repair and its compliant by HOA. They agreed to fix ASAP, until 2023/02, there is no panel showing up and below is the process.2022/08, They sent a technician to my home for inspection and on 08/11 Easy lift placed the 1st order and told us ***** lead time.2022/11, when the panel is supposed to come, we initiated the conversation to check on status of my order, EasyLift pushed *** to 01/25/2023.2022/11, My husband found out the 1st order EasyLift is wrong so he did their job to chase down to door manufacture company to get the specifications right while Easylift had them handy from our townhouse builder, but they cannot get it right. 2022/12, EasyLift placed 2nd order with corrected configuration and we double confirmed the *** is still week of 2023/01/16. 2023/01, the panel is supposed to arrive and we started to ask EasyLift, they pushed *** to 2023/02/13.2023/02, we asked if the panel arrives and EasyLift said it was missing during the transition and advised us to order a new one.2023/02, 3rd order placed. And *** is 2023/04 But we dont know if it will arrive on time or get lost in the middle.there is no active update or temporal solution proposed from EasyLift.The update order placed on 2022/12, and we still havent received any panel and there is no assurance on order arrival and none of *** in 7 months ends up showing up.Business response

Job has been completed and closed as of 03/02/2023. Issue was not that Easy Lift did not order door. Issue was panel was ordered on wrong color the first time. Panel was order a second time and manufacture was not able to provide Easy Lift with accurate ETA they kept on changing and till today they do not have an explanation on why panel was delayed.
