I purchased this car from Roseville Auto Center on 1/19/24. The car purchased was a 97 **** Taurus GL that was the owners personal car purchased brand new(Nephew was car salesman and this is his statement) 1 owner only. Got his personal assurance that the car was in great shape mechanically and that if anything went wrong in the next couple days he would take care of it. ***(the salesperson/owner's nephew) was extremely polite I did test drive the car and everything seemed to be in working order. When I brought it back from a test drive I noticed a leak from the engine area and they fixed that on the spot. Also, when the turn signals/ emergency lights stopped working two days later they kept the car overnight(I had to pay for rental) and fixed it for free. On 1/29/24 in the evening, the car started to drop gears and had trouble shifting as well as dropping into neutral while driving. I called the dealership and got the blow off. I tried multiple times and got told *** was on vacation and the person there couldn't help me. on 2/1/24 I took it into Aamco and had it looked at. I was told it was the speed control system(matched the code I got when using my OBDII). I was also told that whoever did the previous work had used the wrong parts and the way it was done it negated the abs and traction control system. I had no choice but to authorize those repairs to the tune of $1308, They of course ended up removing the axels etc so was a lot of work. I was without a car for a week and My wife is a dasher so that was also a `1k loss. I got the car back , but it was still having issues so put it back in on 2/14/24 and was told ****** needed replaced so I had that done. During this time I reached out to the dealership multiple times and again was given excuse and blow offs not being able to actually talk to ***. I did finally get *** as he answered the phone , I told him everything that was going on to which he said he would be having a meeting with his uncle in the **** on Friday and would call me right after as he would know what they could arrange. I never heard back and when I tried again he was unavailable. This is all within 30 days of buying the car and the previous repairs done by the owner(supposed ONLY owner) the dealership had to know about the ****** and the abs/traction control as well as speed censors when they sold it to me.They sold me an unsafe possible delay vehicle during the rainy days we just had (when the traction and abs are most important) and wont do a single thing to help. I was sold a 3100 car and withing a month had to spend another 6k plus to fix the car and it still isn't working right. AAmco is standing by their work and it is back in being checked out and repaired for free. they lied from the get go and knowing sold me a vehicle that could be deadly during the rainy storms for the two weeks surrounding this purchase. I could barely af**** the 3.1k to buy the car and now had to borrow another 6k plus at high interest to get it fixed(not yet completed). During that time my wife hasn't been able to work costing us 3k maybe 4k. This has ended up being almost as expensive as buying a 2010 low mileage car. Brother in law Just bought a 2010 prius with under 100k miles for with all fees included just over 10k. This has been an extremely stressful time thanks to this as I will barely make rent this month and for first time in my life bills are a month late. this one purchased is severely damaging my ability to have a low income barely making it life. I want everyone to know what this dealership is willing to do to get rid of their cars. If you look up reviews you have several situations like mine. This drama still goes on and the dealership is dodging my calls and not accepting any responsibility for this.

I saw the vehicle on the lot and decided to check it out. After speaking with the owner, I decided to take it for a test drive. I did notice a few issues with the power steering and the smell of burning oil. These concerns were addressed, upon my return, with the owner and one of his associates. He assured me that everything had been checked out and inspected by the mechanic he uses and trusts. He even took it for a test drive himself and said everything was in good condition when he returned. That the oil was just changed and thats what I was smelling.Well, I purchased the vehicle and drove it home. After a few days of driving to get a feel for it, the coolant level was low and the ride started to become rougher and rougher. I also noticed smoke or steam coming from the vehicle and topped off the coolant level. At this point, the vehicle was taken to a *** specialist for a full inspection. It didn't take more than a few hours before I was informed that the vehicle would need/require close to $15,000+ worth of repairs. At this point, I tried reaching out to the dealership and realized my calls were either being screened... if not ignored. I even sent an email to the dealership, but never received an answer. This next issue concerns the title, registration, and license plate for the vehicle. I received the vehicle registration in the mail. However, it only contained the year sticker. Its also showing the vehicle registration valid from 16 August 2022 to 16 August 2023. This is strange considering we purchased the vehicle 31 December 2022 and paid $746.88. Now, from all the vehicles Ive purchased in the past, after paying this fee I would receive the new license plates to include the month and year stickers. However, this is a renewal and it included no vehicle plate nor did we receive the title for the vehicle.Dealership is not responding to any phone calls or emails.
