Dealership would not give me my keys so I could leave-I went to dealership to look at used trucks. Was shown a new truck I couldnt afford. Was lied to. They didnt give me what they said they would for my trade in, didnt give me the extras they promised, I tried to leave 3 times but they wouldnt give me my keys and didnt review my contract with me. Also, didnt give me the truck for the price they told me. Aweful experience.Review from Carmen W

This place has wemt down to the dumps. I purchased my car when it was ********** Sullivan, I bring my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, I scheduled the appointment online for Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:30, as soon as I drive up to the service department, I let the person know I have a 1:30 apartment for oil change they then tell me Did someone drop you off I say no I checked the box online saying I was staying with my car then the service guy tells me but it's going to be a three or four hour wait..... Best unacceptable three to four hours wait for a 30 minute oil change and ever since they change ownership I've been bringing my car there for the past 5 years it's always two three four hour wait for oil change I told the guy they can cancel the appointment and I'm never bringing my car here to be serviced again and I'll never come there and purchase a vehicle from you guys in life. Terrible Experience with Unfulfilled Promises and ********************* I recently had the misfortune of purchasing a new car from Chevrolet Roseville, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. My excitement for my son's first car quickly turned into frustration and disappointment due to the awful service and unmet promises that unfolded during our visit.Upon arriving at the dealership, I had hoped for a smooth and pleasant experience, but that was far from reality. The process dragged on for nearly 5 hours, and most of our time was spent waiting for the financing agent to prepare the contract. This excessive delay was both baffling and infuriating, especially given my previous experiences with other dealerships that were far more efficient.However, the most egregious aspect of this ordeal was the behavior of *****, the closer. From the outset, he tried to upsell me on various add-on services that amounted to an astonishing $7500. He artfully presented these services as if they were an integral part of the transaction, leaving me under the impression that they were mandatory. After further scrutiny, I discovered these services were completely optional. This deceitful tactic to inflate the purchase price was utterly unacceptable and left a sour taste in my mouth.To make matters worse, ***** assured me I had ample time to provide him with a friend and family discount code, as I had purchased the car using this discount. He explicitly told me that I had a week to furnish the code. Acting upon his information, I sent the code on 8/6/23, well within the timeframe he had indicated. However, I was shocked when I received a response stating that the code had to be submitted by the end of the month. ***** had lied to me to expedite the deal closure. This deceptive behavior left me feeling cheated and utterly disgusted by the level of service I had received.I am appalled by the way I was treated at Chevrolet Roseville.Review from Jessica J

Recently purchased a used vehicle from ***** Roseville and in the past 20 days has been serviced for the same issue. All ***** says is sorry and well we can not do anything for you. The thrid time it was service they kept my car for an entire week without asking of I needed a vehicle in the mean time. If you ask to speak to a manager, they say someone will call you... Never will be called. Just please purchase a vehicle from a place that actually values you as customer and your money.Review from Mrs. G

I came in November 2021..Single mom had a nice trade was told they could help me get a good reliable car good on gas .. They took such advantage of me !! Yeah they got me into a vehicle alright with 30% interest (who does that) JUST TELL ME I HAVE CRAPPY CREDIT & TAKE 5 MIN TO EXPLAIN TO YOUR CLIENT WHAT THEY ARE GETTING INTO IF THEY CHOOSE TO MOVE FORWARD !! I put 8k down and it was a 16k car but than they added on the warranty which they said was required to have per my loan & gap insurance plus I was told ****** was preinstalled on the car but was free of charge to me ! LIES upon LIES I walked out of there 22K DOLARS LATER & a 550 payment for 7 years !! way over my head I knew nothing about ************ work total scammers !! Than ********** Sullivan was in the middle of a sale & of course they don't disclose that info so you don't realize what is about to happen, So long story short I was able to get out from under the car & after 3 months of non stop calling and getting the run around with Finance and countless messages & no responses I went in 9 weeks ago sat & waited 2 hours to finally get someone to help me to ask for my refund on my warranty and gap insurance total of like **** or so I left there being told should see my money within 6-8 weeks still nothing said to me about the sale affecting refunds from **** l Sullivan etc So I proceed to call finance at Roseville Chevrolet to be told today that my refund doesn't come from them they are not affiliated with ********** ***************************** have no clue about my refund or its estimated time frame & said he had no info to give me except an email address that I could send a request to asking about my ********** should expect a response in the next few days but that it could still be weeks or months, I AM BESIDE MYSELF THAT WE ALL HAVE TO SUFFER BECAUSE THEY ARE SO EAGER TO TAKE OUR MONEY & HANG US OUT TO DRY & THAN MAKE US FIGHT & STRESS OVER GETTING THE MONEY BACK THAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS !! used to get great and fast service here. BUT I went in for a motor replacement for my sunroof.. ended up with leaks, water damage, wiring erosion, etc. because they didn't hook the drain hoses back up. (it took 6 visits to get it all fixed)Then I recently went in to have my motor mounts replaced. They kept it for 10 days and when I got it back, it still wasn't right. Took it back, they had it for 12 days and now I am taking it back again because I still feel the vibration and difference I did before. I am only returning because I paid almost 3K and it's not fixed correctly.After this gets resolved, I will NOT be returning to them as a service department OR a potential dealer.Review from Vickie H.

Do NOT get your car serviced at this dealership! They are not the ************ Sullivan dealership anymore, even though they still use the name on the invoices and signs. They kept my car for 5 days, running diagnostics, couldn't find what was wrong, reset the system and charged me $600. They didn't even perform the customary courtesy vehicle inspection! I argued the service manager down to $200, but I'm still contacting CBS Call ******* ********** and Roseville consumers need to know the business is not the same anymore.Review from Lara M

DON'T BUY HERE! Consistently a bad experience. issue #1 I bought a Bolt EV from them in May 2021. Since then every time I have to bring the car to them they give it back the low battery. I have asked them multiple times to charge it at their charging station, which they do not do. I live 1.5hrs away from the dealership, so I need every bit of battery to get to work and home. issue #2 I had to have rental while they placed the protective clear coat. The car had no damage marks by my inspection, yet after I returned it and they inspected it they tried to claim I damaged the vehicle. They also tried to intimidate me into an exorbitant fee. I hate to think this of anyone, but the only explanation is that they damaged their own vehicle and tried to blame me to recover some money for it. shameful.issue #3 I had a flat tire 6 months after buying the car. Although I did not want to the warranty company insisted I had to tow the car back to **** Sullivan. They then claimed the vehicle has 2 different tire sizes, which is not true. When I drove off and got up to speed on the interstate the car was shaking violently. I called them back and they said I would have to bring it back in. Seriously!? How hard is it to balance the tires after you replace a tire and rotate? I live 1.5hr away. It is an entire day of my life to bring the car down to Roseville for something they screwed up. When I took the car to ****, they informed me the rim was bent and needed to be replaced, which **** Sullivan never mentioned. Luckily, I bought the rim warranty so they should just be able to fax the paperwork to **** and replace the wheel under warranty, right? Oh no, oh no. **** Sullivan now magically can't find the warranty paperwork, which I only bought because the finance sales guy told me how flimsy and brittle the Bolt rims were. I have never in my life experience such poor customer service, been lied to, and accused of by a dealership on multiple occasions. DisgustingReview from Misty S

WORST experience I have ever had at a service department. DO NOT bring your vehicle to John L Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville. They have been purchased by Lithia Motors, an out of state corporation who is not interested in customer service. They have had 70 complaints with the Better Business Bureau in the last 12 months. Look at the reviews for Lithia as this is the new owner. We brought our 2019 Impala into John L. Sullivan Chevrolet on May 27th. Our car was making some funny sounds and even though we did not have a check engine light on, we thought it was something that we needed to get checked out. We sent the video because we felt whoever the technician was checking out the car would want to hear the video just in case it didn’t make the noise. My husband was called from Arthur and was told that we had a catastrophic failure of our transmission. The adjustor reported that they drove around with the John L. Sullivan technician and could not find anything wrong with the transmission but did hear the sound. The adjustor found that the catalytic convertor flange was cracked. The adjustor also reported that we should have the transmission serviced. You can imagine my surprise at this as we went from a $6,296.70 claim for a whole new transmission to needed a $495 service. My husband paid the $200 diagnostic fee to get the car out of hock. I then paid the $303 rental car fee. $503 we spent for what??? I decided to call Steve Wilkens the “service manager” with whom my husband had spoken since he blamed me for their misdiagnosis. I have never in my life spoken to anyone so “anti-customer service in my life”. Apparently business is so good at John L Sullivan they don’t need to be nice to you. ng the sound in park when it was turned on. Steve also ignored me when I stated “how do we go from a catastrophic failure of the transmission a week ago to a converter flange crack that the warranty adjustor found with your technician?” I asked for a refund and he hung upReview from Patrick T

I bought a car from. **** l Sullivan in early October and I brought back a. Day later because it was over heating the service guy was so rude to me and told me that I dnt have a warranty even when I showed. Him the warranty argued with me so I just left the dealer ship then I brought it back a week later because of the problems I was having with the car they said they fixed it but they clearly did not fix it ive had to spend close to **** dollars out of my own pocket because they dnt wanna honor the warranty and the car is back at the dealership with a 12000$ auto repair that I can't afford this car was never inspected and iam not getting anywhere
