On July 11th 2022 I went to get my oil changed and paid ****** total to speedee. Upon leaving the establishment my car stalled right out front upon pulling onto the street. I called speedee and the manager came to my car since I was right out front and immediately said we did not do this. Note: I have never had any mechanical problems with this car to date. I called for a tow to the lexus dealership to see why my car quit working upon leaving their establishment and they stated my fuel line had been pulled out. They did not have to do any thing other than just put my fuel line back in. Nothing was wrong with the fuel line it was literally pulled out. I also supplied speedee with a report from lexus confirming this information. They did not charge me to put back in the fuel line but i did pay ****** for the diagnostic to lexus plus ****** for my tow. I called speedee after hearing what ***** said and they said they would put in a claim on july 12th and have not heard a work back from the owner. I have made multiple attempts to find out where my supposed claim stands as it is now September and have gotten nowhere. I have wrote the owner several emails inquiring about the claim and my requested reimbursement of just the ****** which i had to pay lexus. Even though i had much more out of pocket cost. I had to take off of work as well since this took hours to get a tow and get my car taken care of. This is solely on speedee and im very upset the owner has not apologized for the inconvenience they have caused me and just will not respond. This is clearly their doing no question since when i came to the establishment i had an intact fuel line and I left without one. My car literally quit right in front of their store and they refuse to take any responsibility.Customer response

To whom it may concern;We did speak with ******** in regards to the complaint below on a 2013 Lexus Rx350 with ******* miles. A claim was submitted and an investigation into the claim was commenced. The claim was denied for the following reasons:1. Upon completing the oil change, we show the customer was able to start the vehicle, drive West on Coloma and then ********** Sunrise Ave. This indicates the fuel line was connected upon completion of the oil change. If the fuel line was disconnected from the oil change the customer would not have been able to start the vehicle or drive the vehicle at all.2. Our records indicate that the only work performed was an oil change. No other services where performed that could have resulted in any access to fuel line on the customer vehicle.3. We spoke to the service writer at Lexus and who could only confirm that the fuel line became detached, reason was unknown, and that over time and miles the fuel line can become loose and detach. They found no indication of anything wrong with the oil change performed.We understand *************************** disappointment of having a car issue.SpeeDee Oil Roseville
