I am filing this complaint against a company called Shoe Care Innovations (SCI). They sell a product called the SteriShoe, which is basically two shoe trees with ultraviolet lights in them that you put in shoes to kill bacteria. Here are the basic details of my dealings with SCI:(1) On August 4 and 5, 2022, I ordered a replacement power cord and two extra ultraviolet light bulbs for my SteriShoe in two separate orders. The order numbers are ****** and ******, respectively. Copies are attached as Docs 1 and 2.(2) ********* cord that SCI sent does not appear to be compatible with my SteriShoe, unfortunately, which makes it and the bulbs useless. That's my problem in a nutshell. After I realized that, I sent a message to SCI's ****************** email address on August 14, 2022. I asked them if the power cord is compatible with my SteriShoe. A copy of the email is attached as Doc 3.(3) When I did not receive a response, I called SCI on August 26, 2022, at their ************ telephone number. I spoke with a woman named *******. She said she could not help me herself, that she did not have access to the ****************** email address that I'd sent my message to, and that only her manager had access and could help me. She said she would have her manager contact me.(4) On August 28, 2022, I sent a follow-up email to the info@sterishoe email address. A copy of the email is attached as Doc 4. Basically, I memorialized my conversation with ******* in that email.(5) On September 6, 2022, I called SCI again and talked with *******. She reiterated that only her manager could help me. She said she would have her manager contact me. I have yet to hear from her manager. It has been more than four weeks since I last contacted SCI.Originally, I was hoping SCI could send me a replacement power cord that would work. Now I just want a refund for the power cord and bulbs. I am happy to send them back to them if they pay for return shipping.Initial Complaint

On July 22, 2022 I was charged $20.90 for a new power chord. I gave ********* my **** credit card number. My order is #*****. I was told it would take several weeks to fill my order and I would receive an email when it was shipped. I called on 8/25/2022, 8/30/2022, 9/7/2022 and finally 9/15/2022. Each time I requested a full refund because I never received the requested power chord. Each time I was told the customer service representative would send an email to the department that would handle the refund. The last time I called on 9/15/2022 I asked to talk to the department regarding the refund. I was told they do not take calls. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company that I used for the purchase. This is such poor customer service.
