      In February 2022 I took my car to KB Automotive Repair with a coupon to get brakes and rotors. I was told by the manager **** that I could not apply the coupon (and I did not understand why) but the deal he offered was less expensive than having my breaks done at the dealer so I left my car to get breaks and rotors. After I got my car back I heard my breaks squeaking, and grinding so I took the car back. **** asked if I took my car to the car was and I told him not recently but of course I have had my car washed. He said that getting my car wash could have affected the performance of my breaks. I left the car again and picked it up but after a few days I heard my breaks doing the same thing so I called back and one of the mechanics told me to bring the car back and I did. I left the car back again and after I arrived home and I was backing in my garage I could hear a harsh grind. I called the shop but there was no answer so I waited to call back another day. This occurred from February-June 2022. I finally got a whole of someone but was told to drive it for a while because they just put new breaks. I called back and talked to **** and he told me that he will have to put breaks with a higher performance on the car and to bring it back. After this last time I was frustrated having to take the bus to work, get rides from my adult children, and interrupt my work schedule and my children's schedule to get picked up and dropped off. I picked up my car the last time and my breaks were worse than before. I called and asked for **** but was informed he was with a customer and shared with his mechanic the issues I was having. I also let him know that I was going to ask for a refund due to all the issues I was having with my breaks not performing correctly with speaking, grinding, not stopping correctly, and spongy. The mechanic said he would let **** know and have him call me and took my name and number again. **** did not call me back.

      Hello *****

      You visited our store on Feb 7, 2022 and as per your request we provided the service of replacing your front and rear pads and rotors.  We also recommended you to do the Brake Fluid service. When you came back stating that your brakes were squeaking and grinding, we warranted your brake job again. You called us later and advised us that you had taken your vehicle to the dealer for the same reason and they charged you $189 for bleeding your brake system. However, we did not touch the hydrollic system in your vehicle and the dealer verified as well. In addition, we did not open your brake system in order to replace your brake pads and rotors.  We found out that you mentioned to the dealer that your brake pedal felt soft and nothing to do with GRINDING OR SQUEECKING. When the brake pedal is soft it is more like ABS system issue and nothing to do with replacing your pads and rotors. You never told us about the pedal being soft and also when our mechanics test drove the vehicle they did not feel the pedal being soft.  You have not provided any proof that the work we did and the parts we installed were incorrect, defective, or faulty. We know that we have not done anything wrong and we did install new parts in your vehicle TWICE and we also paid for labor TWICE.  

      However, we will stand behind our work and offer Ms. ***** $185 in the form of store credit.

      I made an appointment on Monday for service at this establishment for today, 2/24, indicating that I had a Val-Pak coupon (image attached) for a four-wheel alignment for $45.98. The coupon specifically states that it is a four-wheel alignment being offered. He told me "no problem" and to come at 10:00 on 2/24. However, upon arriving at the garage for my appointment today, the proprietor told me that the coupon was only good for a two-wheel alignment and that the actual charge would be $99.99. I tried to point out the discrepancy but he was dismissive and curt. Furthermore, he wouldn't even honor the appointment I had made because he has "too many cars" to work on today. The proprietor needs to honor his coupons and not give customers the run-around like this. We take time out of our day to patronize the establishment and even make an appointment, and he won't honor either the appointment or the coupon? Unacceptable!

      Hello ******

      On our coupon from Valpak (or any other) we do have Alignment price for $45.98 but it states for most vehicles.  Depending on the vehicle's year, make and model. For the Alignment service, we always tell our customer's that the Alignment could take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours depending on the adjustments we have to do while doing an alignment.  The customer did not pay anything neither did receive any service.

      Starting a few months back, we have taken our vehicle several,times, always resulting in major repairs. First they said it was alternator, then,transmission, now engine.,all fixed by the way, amounting to over $5 000.00 just in the last few months. We have loyally been taking the car to toyota, since first purchased in 2013.@The mileage is within reason for the year and make.,he has totally taken advantage.
