We paid R & C Heating & Air $2,960 on 8/7/19. They installed a 3-unit Mitsubishi split heating and air system. The system has never worked properly. - The large unit in the main room does not produce cold air - never has. - The smaller unit in the 2nd bedroom only works when the large main unit is running (even though the main unit must run in order for the 2nd smaller unit to work, the large unit still produces no cold air). - The smaller unit in the main bedroom works, but is weak. - All units leak or freeze over at times - reasons for this leakage/freeze are unknown. According to other quotes we've received to fix the problem, the unit was installed incorrectly from the beginning. We have contacted R & C over a dozen times since the install. It is still not functional. The first few times they returned, they blamed the manufacturer. They blamed the help (or lack thereof) they were getting from the manufacturer. They blamed the hours the manufacturer was available (or unavailable). The last in-person visit did not solve the problem. They said they would investigate further and return soon to fix the problem. That never happened. Knowing in the spring that summer was approaching, we've tried to 2 years running to get them to return. They have never reached out after numerous emails and phone messages. The current year has again been met with zero contact. We have tried, again, to make contact in May, June, July and August of this year (2022). No one has ever called us back or responded to email. Current estimates to fix the problem hover around $3,000. We would like: - To be contacted - The original improper installation to be fixed OR - $3,000 in compensation so we can get it repaired by another contractor It's a mystery why they won't make contact.Business response

** ******The ********* issue was resolved months ago. Problem was a slightly kink on liquid line. They are up and running. There was no charge.***R&C Heating & Air************
