After 3 previous experiences with national chain "professional" movers in red, white, and blue trucks (damaged furniture, STOLEN electronics, hundreds in overcharges only revealed when they already have all your possessions, etc) I had vowed to never use movers again. All that changed with Meathead Movers! From the professional and accurate estimate (the final charges were LESS) to the on time arrival of the super hard working super fast crew (thanks, Rachel, Marino, Brian, and Dakota!), to the finished delivery into my new home of all my stuff in the *minimum* time estimate, to the fact that not a single coffee cup was broken, to the very reasonable price, they were all good as gold. Deserving of special attention was that I have a lot of precision machine shop equipment in my garage, all of it both hundreds of pounds in weight, and whose precision is easily ruined by rough handling or a drop. All of it was handled like a newborn kitten. The whole experience of using Meathead Movers was simply as good as it could have been. Can't recommend them any more highly. WELL DONE, MEATHEADS! :-)

Adrian and the team were awesome! To our surprise, seven gents showed up and knocked out our loading. They were very thorough with the log distance move and Careful with our special items. We sincerely appreciate their hard work. Definitely recommended. Thanks guys!

First time using Meathead movers, was a quick job moving a couple large pieces of furniture for us. The staff was great and was able to squeeze us between jobs, the movers were very professional and did a wonderful job. I will use them again and would recommend them anytime.

This is the third time that I have used meathead movers and they continue to be the best in the business. The staff is incredibly professional, courteous, and easy to deal with. I’d recommend anytime.

The two young men did a great job! I thought it would take longer when I booked the job, but they were done In under an hour! So the 3 hour cost was quite excessive. I wish they had an hourly fee!

A****** and J**** were amazing. From the moment they called us to notify they were coming to the very end. During that time they hustled and were polite and knew what questions to ask. I was apprehensive that they wouldn't know how to pack our storage containers, but they did. They secured as they went along And filled all spaces. They both had a calm demeanor and focused on what was most important. They carefully and safely wrapped everything and carried down two flights of stairs without making any dents or scratches anywhere. I would have tripled my tip to give them if I could. I highly recommend this duo and Meathead Movers. Do not have a doubt about this company they are top-notch.

Due to the character limit not every issue has been listed. We did a virtual walkthrough. We were told 2 days to pack, 1 day to move, 2 trucks. We planned accordingly. Part 1, Day 1: End of the day they insisted that we didn’t need as many boxes as were scheduled despite lots left. We followed their advice, called dispatch & lowered the number of boxes to the number advised by the packers. Day 2: the packers scrambled to pack what remained. They packed items that weren’t meant to be such as food, cleaning solvents, & medications. They didn’t label boxes well. They were unable to finish packing & said the movers the next day would finish. Move Day: we were told that if everything couldn’t fit in their two trucks, they’d come back the next day to finish. We didn't schedule an extra day into our move plan. We were told the movers weren’t supposed to pack items, but they did pack some. We heard movers asking if anyone had any training about how to move furniture. There were times we had to help them move furniture. They were unable to fit everything into two trucks. The lead told us we could either: pay for more overtime or pay Meathead to store the trucks at their warehouse overnight & unload the trucks into our storage locker the next day. We had them store it & unload the trucks the next day. That led to us abandoning items & having to pay the new house owners for the junk removal. Part 2:Crew decided that the items they unloaded in the garage were meant to stay there, including boxes clearly labeled “Kitchen” or “Books” as well as furniture. We asked for all book boxes to be moved upstairs. They said they understood & then ignored us. Chunks were knocked out of the stairwell wall from moving furniture. Unpacking: Significant amounts of property damage. Dish boxes weren’t labeled fragile & were packed in stacks with a single piece of packing paper to protect multiple dishes. Some cookware had 0 padding. These had sentimental value as wedding dishes

My latest move was the third time I've ever worked with movers. The first two times were awful -- the guys who did the work complained the whole time, were inept at prepping my stuff and even talked about how much they would get as a tip. What a huge difference using Meathead Movers. From the first time I called to check out their service, I felt like they were invested in doing a great job. I talked to the representative for about 10 minutes, got an estimate and they they reached out to me about a week later to make sure everything was good. They also assigned me a specialist who answered about five questions as the day got closer. On the moving day itself, the three movers were polite and hard-working, hustling their hardest to do things quickly -- yet carefully. It was a great experience and I would recommend Meathead to anyone who wants to take at least some of the stress out of moving.
