      We hired Meathead movers for our move from Ojai to Camarillo on 10/18/21. We had six guys and two trucks. We had so many issues during our move. 1. Our refrigerator was badly damaged. Not only did the movers bend the back where the waterline is, but they put two dents in the front and stripped the screws for one of the freezer handles, so now the handle is broken and falls off. 2. Hardware was lost for my bookcases to put the shelves back on, as well as for our entertainment system cabinet. 3. The screws were stripped on our TV stand, so the stand could not be removed again when we wanted Best Buy to hang it on the wall. 4. The hardware was lost for our armoire mirror. 5. Our rugs were all damaged. They were not put out correctly, furniture was put on top of them and it ended up ruining them, so they don't lay flat anymore, and have become an absolute tripping hazard. 6. They left the hardware for my 1 year old son's crib back at our house, wouldn't go get, and left us with no bed for our son the first night in our new house. (The crib should have never been taken apart), they also tried to put random screws into it, almost ruining the crib for good. 7. They left a lot of things that were mentioned in the initial consult at the old house, and we ended up having to pay for a U-Haul to get them, after already having paid for this very expensive move. 8. My desk chair and a crafting cart were left outside at my old house. We ended up going back a few days later, and found them both left there. We paid over $4,700 for our move with them, and our belongings were not treated well at all. We had damage on multiple items, the staff was completely unresponsive, slow, and they tried to charge us overtime for the last two hours, even though they had 4 guys outside folding blankets while the 2 guys inside tried to put back my brand new refrigerator handle that they had taken apart in the first place. I have called, filed a claim but am not getting response

It is obvious that we have completely dropped the ball during and after your move and I can assure you that this has been escalated to the top of our company to quickly resolve your complaint to your satisfaction. There is obvious coaching that needs to occur for our student athlete movers and Claims Department and we have made it a top priority to identify the issues and correct them as soon as possible. Our Operations Team has already reached out to you to promptly resolve your claim and we look forward to working with you to make all of this right.
