New roof ($12,500) by Top-of-the-Line Roofing. He failed to see needed plywood. Now increased to $16,500. (1st error) Contract signed 10/09/21. He purchased the wrong insulation for flat roof (2nd error) which met the slant roof too high @ fireplace & didn't know how to fix. Asked me what to do? (3rd error) said he figured it out. But badly done, hence, 11/7/22 15 ft leak@ fireplace. The !st inspector signed off so he could proceed but said a "cricket" was missing around fireplace and code required. so told ******* to make sure he added it. But ******* said it was "not" a code requirement so not done & did it did not pass final inspection. ******* made me have one made & pay for it. He said he did not include one in my contract. (4th error). I had a large cricket on my fireplace that he removed and threw away saying it was not needed. Flat roof had termites that he said he would treat before laying new plywood over, but not done (5th error) Still evidence of termites ********* son closed up roof and said ******* did not tell him to do any treatment. The.1st leak 11/7/22 (not fixed till 11/30/22) 2nd leek 1/11/23 flat roof outside wall (******* said have someone else inspect & if they say its the roof he will repair it. still unrepaired) 3rd leak 3/22/23 kitchen ceiling. ******* only went on roof for a few minutes then left. later said he fixed it but would not answer me to fix the inside damage on ceiling. Another company came, found a different exposed pipe not sealed & as a courtesy, since no response from ******* sealed it. but said ******* has to fix *************** damage because of warranty, got no reply. 4th leak, 2/5/24 ceiling again. notified same day with reply "not his responsibility". unresolved repairs:12" facia replaced, nails penetrating inside Ceiling & outside eve & paint peeling from punctures, eve unsealed, skylight roof not done, or sealed & bad wood replaced, skylight water intrusion, brittle puddy filled in eve that need wood replacement +more
