      On July 5,2023 i wired $7,000.00 as a down payment for a 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP i had inquired about online. We had an agreement over text messages, however once Acura of Modesto received the money they changed the terms of the deal at which point i told them to cancel the deal and wire me my money back. It is currently July 12,2023 and i still dont have the money. Im no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle from them and am demanding my money back.

      In regards to the customer complaint dated 7/5/2023 from *****************, the customer did wire $7000.00 to the dealership for a down payment on a vehicle purchase ************ did not understand that sales tax would still have to be paid in his state of residency. We were going to be giving him a 1 trip permit to his state of residency where the vehicle would need to be registered.  Once we realized there was a misunderstanding regarding the sales tax we let him know that we were more than happy to cancel the deal and refund his down payment.  I spoke to ************ on July 10th and informed him that we would be mailing his down payment back to him by the end of the week as it is our company policy to wait 10 days to insure that his funds cleared the bank. His check was mailed on July 13, 2023 and has been cashed.
