The business offered furniture on its website for sale. I purchased the piece of furniture on February 1st, tendered payment, and received confirmation of my order. On February 11th, I received an email stating that the company is cancelling my order on grounds that the sales price was a mistake. They did not provide any details on the return of my money; rather, they simply unilaterally canceled the agreement almost two weeks after my payment was made. This is not acceptable and I am seeking to enforce the sale. It is even more egregious considering they are still holding on to my money.Initial Complaint

I waited several months for the sofa (and some cushions) to arrive which it finally did in December 4th. Unfortunately, it arrived in pieces due to damage during shipping. I did not accept the item and it was returned. I called Design Publics customer service number several times and was constantly given the run-around. They insisted on replacing it when l wanted a refund for the amount paid which is $ *******. They contacted me a few days later to say that they had refunded me. Well, they never refunded me! I paid through PayPal and would have received a notification from PayPal as soon as the refund process had begun. Almost two weeks has gone by and still no refund and no replies to the email messages l have sent. I am owed a refund for the full amount of $******* as the damaged furniture was returned on December 4th.
