This has to be one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever had work done by. I had a blown head gasket in my 2014 Prius and stumbled upon Gasket Masters online. I was a little concerned by some of the negative reviews I saw online, but figured they were worth giving a shot. I called them and they came out promptly later that week to replace the engine in my Prius. At first, I was really impressed by their mobile service and how affordable they seemed. I paid just over $3,100 to have my engine replaced. **** came out with his colleague and replaced the engine in a timely manner. I was happy with their service and all seemed to be OK...until things went downhill thereafter. My engine was still knocking even after they replaced it which leads me to believe something is wrong with the replacement they gave me. They honored the warranty they gave me and came out three times to try and diagnose the issue, but couldn't seem to figure it out. At this point I was getting frustrated given all the money I'd spent. **** started to ignore my texts and refused to respond to me (I have screenshots to prove it). He'd schedule a time with me, say they were coming, and then just not show up. It's clear he was lying to me when we scheduled appointments. I'd call their shop phone and they stopped picking up my calls. I had a feeling they were screening my calls, and lo and behold, I blocked my number and they'd pick up. **** offered me a $300 refund for all the fuss, and here I am three weeks later and still haven't received the check they supposedly sent. I've attempted to follow up multiple times and nobody will respond to me or answer my calls. This is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. They responded once saying the check was mailed, and have not responded to any of my follow-*** about having it re-sent or payment issued another way.
