Please please believe all the reviews below. This is a horrible firm to work with. I went in person (06/20) to turn in my paperwork for my case. Front desk scanned it all in and stated i was good to go. A month passed and I had no updates so I call and find out my paperwork had been lost. That the way i emailed my files wasnt allowing them to open them. I turned them in in person, not emailed. So, i go in person again, turn them all in and ask paralegal ****** to confirm they could be opened. She said yes so i left. I call a week later for an update, my paralegal ***** states im missing files and they're incomplete. Also that our passport photos are missing, OBVIOUSLY you guys lost them! She cuts our conversation short because she had to go. I demand a call from anyone immediately to confirm my files are ok and she states ****** will call me....end of business day and no call. And i'll add, getting a hold of ANYONE is a total nightmare.So I call and request to cancel service on 09/15 & im told someone will reach out in a week to cancel, as of 09/26, no call of course. I make the hour drive to the office, no ones available. 10/3 ********* calls and offers for my legal fees to be covered if I stay with them, I declined because I cant trust them. Today 10/12 I get a deposit of $1400 from them as a refund when I paid $3000. I'm supposed to be receiving a breakdown of the refund but haven't yet. I've seen other reviews state that when they cancel they're charged for "time invested", "time researching" and even phone calls made with the client. They did nothing for me other than waste my time and lose my documents yet they only want to refund less than half. When it comes to taking your money they're always available and even stay after hours. Everyone there seems incompetent, everyone says different things for everything, they hang up, never call back. Please save yourself the headache. Working with them even though nothing was done for me was a nightmare.

TMF has reviewed this matter in detail. The referenced retainer was fully executed on June 15, 2023. TMF tried to communicate with Ms. ********* on multiple occasions, leaving voicemails and sending texts when possible. The first batch of documents were left at TMF ************* on July 18, 2023. TMF Legal Staff reviewed the list of documents, not the actual files, left at the office and followed up with ********************** on August 1, 2023 regarding a review of the documents. On August 17, 2023, ********************** called TMF to confirm we had everything we needed for the time being. TMF *********** confirmed based on the notes they read on Clio. They were unaware that there would be issues opening the files in the future. On September 1, 2023, TMF Legal Staff attempted to open the uploaded files that had been been corrupted for reasons unknown. Multiple people unsuccessfully tried to open the files.  On September 11, 2023, ********************** dropped off the documents again. On September 15, 2023, TMF spoke to ********************** who was upset that she had to bring in documents again. TMF Legal Staff confirmed they could open all the files. On September 18, 2023, TMF Legal staff called ********************** to move forward with the case but ********************** confirmed that she had already spoken to someone about her request to cancel the retainer. 


TMF apologizes for unforeseeable issues opening ************************** uploaded documents. At the cancellation request of **********************, TMF has generated an accounting for the time spent and work done on ************************** matter. All unearned fees were returned. The accounting on ************************** matter was mailed to her on October 11, 2023. TMF encourages her to call our offices once she receives the refund documents for review.
