We contracted this company in August 2023 to do our roof , we applied for financing through a company that they work with. Weve called/texted them about the delays in starting the roof. They said that because of all the delays they had through inspectors the job was going to start on November 15, 2023. They always respond that the delays are because of Los ngeles inspectors and permits. Weve changed about three times the color of shingles because they say that the inspectors dont approve the prior shingles that we selected due to not proper size requirements. Its now November 29,2023 and we are still waiting. We were told that the project may have been undercharged. Its very hard to get a straight answer from project managers and company. I been locked with this company because they were leading us on about getting everything ready, now its going to cost us more to do the roof through other companies. We want them to honor the contract and start work.Business response

We take customer service and the workmanship of our tradesmen very seriously. We provide a level of customer care and personalized attention that is hard to find in this industry.
This project was cancelled by the customer. There has been a shingle shortage which is not something that we can control. We are a Platinum Preferred contractor with ****************** and we could still not get enough shingles. We gave the customer an option to pick a different shingle color to help speed along the process based upon what was available. In addition, also out of our control, was the city's department of building and safety asking for additional information and waiting for responses from them. DBS is notoriously slow at responding which causes delays. We kept the customer informed every step of the way and allowed them to break their contract with us when asked at no cost. There was time spent on coordinating this project which was an actual cost to the company which we cannot recoup.

ABI Construction INC. , does not have a **************************** tried contacting them to get their information and was unsuccessful. According to the Contract I signed, they are to supply me with a 50 year warranty for the Corning Shingles that were installed, would like to get that also. Thanks so much for the help.
