      S**** this place they are a shady business full of scams and hidden agendas. They don't help you at all with any problems either that should be amended. They make you wait over an hour to get your car and then have all these stupid systems in place to make you get bamboozled into dishing out more money. The manager at this site was rude and inconsiderate. The Nu cars representative on the main line and email was also disrespectful and horrible at their job. I'm a professional athlete, who travels all over ************* and I have never had such a terrible experience for car rental agencies in my career. Shut this place down. I can't believe a place like this is allowed to operate. They are criminals!

      NU car rental *********** **********. Scammed me out of my deposit. They took $300 deposit and I returned the vehicle in perfect condition.a day before I am suppose to return it. They deducted $200 out of my deposit for the reason that one tire was low on air. This was unacceptable , I am filing a complaint to have my $200 returned back to my account. Its a pure scam , their reviews are really bad. I wish I saw the reviews before I rented a car from NU car rentals. They scammed other customers the same way. . Be aware

      I got a package vacation with Priceline.com Flight, car rental and Hotel, everything went well except for (WARNING! This may be a scam) NU rentacar refused My Mastercard credit card, and forced me to use my debit card for adebit card fee of $125.00 fee, I could not refuse the car because I had a Hotel and a Ski resort waiting for me. The also charged me $22.00 after I Returned the car without any explanation.

      Reservation through Expedia, the attendant, ***** asked if I was local or out of town? Being local, she requested a $500.00 dollar deposit, a copy of a utility bill and a second form of ID. I complained that there was nothing to that effect in the contract. She checked her computer, said they were overbooked and since I reserved through a third party, Expedia, they had nothing for me. She offered zero apology. Of course this is completely unacceptable. Fortunately I was not on the hook financially.

      I rented a car from this company before reading any reviews. Once I did, I had buyers remorse so I immediately reserved a car with a different company. I knew it was non-refundable but i wanted to cancel anyway. It was impossible to reach anyone in customer service. I did an auto chat that gave me a phone number but it was not for this company. Fortunately i rented through Expedia so i contacted them and they cancelled the reservation for me. I will never rent from them again.

      NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE I thought I was prepared for all the potential scams but they attempted to charge me $30 additional per day for picking up the prepaid car 2 hours after the reserved time I had prepaid for. They then refused to refund me. RUN FROM THIS PLACE

      This was a very frustrated experience and not happy to deal with them.Friday January 26 in **************** is very poorly managed. I had a reservation for a SUV made (1 month ahead), so I showed up at the car rental desk. They told me no car was available. No communication, no email, no text sent in the morning to inform me that there was no car available. First you need to take a bus from the airport to the car rental bus depot then wait for another shuttle to pick you up. (Yes, 2 different shuttles). After waiting about ***** minutes, I decided to walk to the hotel, (3 blocks away) I wasted my time, walking over there carrying my luggages to find out there was no SUV available.I made a reservation on December 20 and my car should have been there for me. Because I haven't pre paid and reserved that car on Expedia, they do not respect booking from a third party. They told me they cannot do anything for me. They also said to other customers everyone booked through a third party will have to wait a few hours because they are out of cars and they will be helping people first who booked directly through them. I ended up spending over $800 from another car rental company. At least, they helped me to find another car rental but it cost me a lot more. They told me that Expedia overbooked cars. This is not NU Car Rental fault, Not their responsibility. **, Ha, I asked the agent for compensation and NU Car Rental refused. Really, this is not great. Better to spend more money with a reputable car rental company than dealing with this backyard car rental company.Thank you NU

      My pick up time was 8am but my flight got delayed 1hr 20min *** to bad weather. . I suppose to arrive at 7:30 bc flight got delayed arrived 9:20 am I still have 40min to go to retal place to pick up my car to not to pay over time but their shuttle bus got delayed and got to remote rental place I had to wait another shuttle to go to nu car rental when i got there i had to wait in line for 20min to see agent to get a car.. the agent said I got 20 min late from 2hrs holding timeso they have to charge for upgrade?? i explained everything to agent but he was so rude and he said I have to pay $****** ?? original was$370.29 they told me to pay $230 more. I told him it's not my fault to got here late . If ur shuttle bus get me right on time I still have time to get here b4 2hrs holding time but he said if u don't want it step aside I have help other customer ?? I didn't have choice I need a car and it was raining hard ...When I got the car fulle tank wasn't full, back seat was still dirty and they said they have to upgrade car but car was same size as when I booked the car .and They charged $ ****** right away my understanding is when u return the car they charge on the credit card but they charged I still having a car ?? this place fraud. Agent was so unprofessional, u can't even talk to manager their phone never go thru ...this is ridiculous its Hallyday and weather was bad everthing got delayed but they don't Care about circumstances just charge on customer
