Put down payment of $7000 on a 2013 BMW 328i and agreed to reasonable payment. Several weeks later I am contacted by CM stated that financing fell through and I would need to secure financing on my own in order to purchase. I requested time to find a lender to do so and was attempting to do so when the car broke down in the middle of the road one night. I had to have the car towed being that it was stuck blocking traffic the police tow truck showed up before my insurance was able to get a truck there. Car was taken to tow yard and several days later I came up with the money to get it out but still would not start. Had to have car towed to a friend's house. Car was at friend's house and it disappeared. I reported the car stolen that friday and contacted my insurance. Tuesday my insurance calls to report car was located at dealership and that dealership had reported it stolen on Saturday. Dealership claimed they towed car from friends Thursday. Weird. I'm left without a car and $7000.Business response

This customer committed fraud on the credit application and we filed a police report over this matter. We will not respond any further on this matter.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
On a Thursday they came and took my car, I was informed it was gone and reported it to the police on Friday. Dealership reported car stolen on Saturday even though they had already picked it up and had it parked behind business behind the gate. The only police contact was in regards to my missing vehicle. No fraud was committed and no report regarding fraud was made. I was asked to provide my own financing but was not given the opportunity to secure it before car was taken. Their finance company informed me they were unable to verify employment so I offered to provide payroll documents but I didn't have the opportunity to do so before they took the car. I would just like to have my deposit of $7000 returned since I paid for a down payment on a car that they took back.Customer response

I have contacted the auto dealership regarding a copy of my purchase agreement. The original copy was in the vehicle when the vehicle was taken by the dealership. They have not returned my calls as of today.
