On Memorial day weekend, we arrived right at 3:00 PM check in time and provided our ID and credit card. We were told that a room would be available in **** minutes. Another couple arrived and they gave them our room but assured us a room would soon be available. We went for a 1 hour dog walk to return with the assurance that a room was available in 15 minutes. No room....so we went for another walk and returned at 5:30. Again we were told "the room is almost available". After waiting 5 minutes, we said we would cancel our vacation and drive home. The front desk girl was nice and apologized and we were not to be charged. We left. We were charged and management was adamant that we would not be credited back. We were never given a receipt as required by **************** law (5.25.026). It saddens me that the new management of this hotel is not favorable to the Laguna that we used to know....**** and *******

IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU TOO!!!)I never leave reviews or complain but this was too horrendous of an experience to not warn you.We hadnt even stayed at the hotel for 12 hours before we had to leave and drive all the way back home at 2 AM just to get some sleep and the worker was of no help and rude about it, our neighbors were obnoxiously loud screaming, laughing, blasting the ** and they also had a dog barking ALL NIGHT with no consideration for anyone else. When I called the office she ********** hung up the first time and then I had to call back and she finally answered. She ********** sounded extremely angry that I had woken her up at two in the morning huffing and sighing throughout the call not understanding how we felt being unable to sleep whatsoever next to those obnoxious people, and when I asked for a solution she offered to change our room and when I walked to the office to take her up on it she had actually just gone back to sleep and shut off the lights that I had JUST SEEN WERE ON BECAUSE SHE WOKE UP FOR MY CALL AND WE WERE DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM IT, so we packed up and drove home at TWO in the morning just to get some sleep which is ridiculous. We werent even able to complete our stay or get the complimentary breakfast we were looking forward to thanks to a rude worker ********** and inconsiderate neighbors, absolute worst hotel experience ive ever had. Also ********* who is the blue haired worker (just a warning so you know who im talking about)was extremely ***** about it ,and screamed at me over the phone when I called to follow up, I guess she took it personally that I tried to complain about her. To top it off after she finished venting all her anger at me she decided theyre absolutely not giving me a refund then abruptly hung up the call, we didn't even stay the entire night and after this experience you would think THE ABSOLUTE LEAST THEY CAN DO IS GIVE US OUR HARD EARNED MONEY BACK RIGHT?!?! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER STAY HERE!!!
