Hello I was booked through booking.com to stay at this hotel from June 8th 2022 and check out on June 11th 2022. Upon arrival to the airport I received a call saying they would be experiencing a power outage if I wanted to keep my reservation. I let them know I would like the refund. They advised this would be completed. incoming call from ********** at 9PM PST my phone showed 11 pm since it had not updated yet. Upon arrival there was no power and they could not check me in. I had to go somewhere else. Today is 7/20/2022 after multiple attempts trying to get my refund I am now requesting alternate support from the BBB. if needed I will take this to court. I have also called San Diego ************** to request the form showing there was a power outage since no one seems to remember and they are refusing to issue my refund. * I paid for the hotel suite through airbnb in June 2021 * I was told to bring $150 deposit when checking in 08/04/21 * When I came back to pick up my deposit they told me I wasn't in the system and that I had never stayed there * I went through airbnb to message the owner and they said that they would look into it but never got back to me * They conveniently lost the paper work that I signed saying that I paid a $150 dollar deposit * I went through their yelp reviews and it is apparent this is not the first time they scammed someone in the past 6 months!!*
