Complaint Regarding Invoice #******** from Aztec Fire Safety I am reaching out to formally file a complaint against Aztec Fire Safety regarding a billing issue that I believe is unjust. 1. On August 25, 2023, we received Invoice #******** from Aztec Fire Safety, amounting to $95, with a due date of September 9, 2023. This invoice was for a supposed canceled fire safety inspection appointment.2. The Sequence We were repeatedly contacted by Aztec Fire Safety stressing the urgency of complying with city fire safety regulations.Trusting their expertise and the urgency conveyed, we agreed to a scheduled appointment.Their representative arrived ahead of schedule, inspected our fire extinguisher, and confirmed on-site that it had already been serviced in March of the same year. This made the appointment redundant, as evidenced by photos taken at 11:52 AM during his visit.Subsequently, we received the aforementioned invoice stating that the appointment was canceled and we were being billed $95.3. The appointment was not canceled by us. Instead, their representative verified during his visit that the inspection was not necessary. Charging for a service deemed redundant by their own staff is, in our view, not in line with fair business practices.4. We have contacted Aztec Fire Safety regarding this matter, emphasizing that it was their representative who confirmed the redundancy of the service. We requested the cancellation of the invoice but have not received a satisfactory resolution.5. We kindly urge Aztec Fire Safety, with the mediation of BBB, to:Cancel Invoice #********.Acknowledge and rectify their internal communication issues to prevent similar situations for other clients in the future.I trust BBB will assist in ensuring fair resolution to this matter.
