Catalina was one of many structured settlement companies I called shortly after my brother's passing in August 2022. I called to assure his death certificate was turned in. I also verified that I would call back if I had any updated information after speaking to my brother's attorneys. A few days later, I receive a call from the representative I spoke to, checking in to see if I had found out any additional details. information. I said no and that I would call back if I did. Some time later, I received another (slightly more aggressive) call reminding me to update them. They also asked if I myself had any structured settlements. I made it clear that I was not interested and that I merely called to check on my brother's file. I made it clear that I would forward their information to my brother's attorney and if they had any additional questions, to ask the firm. I also demanded my information be removed from their contact list. I made it clear that I am not to be contacted again. As of February 2024, I am still receiving texts and emails. I received a text message from a Catalina rep on 2/16/24. I believe they are trolling because I've communicated my lack of interest both verbally and in writing. I've made it abundantly clear I want to be left alone. I have no interest in receiving contact from this company again, or any of in partners in any way, shape or form. Thank you.

I spoke with ********************, the complainant and resolved the issue. It is Catalina's policy never to contact an individual who has asked not to receive solicitation. If anyone is receiving solicitations that are unwelcome, please contact our corporate offices at ************ and ask to be removed. This company had me sign many private documents and in request of a court date with no response from their employees. They also promised me a advance fee which they never gave me. They are scammers.Business response
