I have yet to receive my osap money it has been months . I am a studnt ani do not work , this has affected my way of living because I am unable to pay for rent or has to get me to school . Every time I call they never are able to give me a response that will help . Or one day they will say something and next time I call its a completely different rponse . And honestly the workers show a great lack of compassion . For example they told j need to update my baking information, great I did that and sent them all the info . I called last week September 16 and they told me next week Friday you will have your money . I call Thursday September 21st and they told me they havent yet processed it . I asked why since you have the information. They honestly just told me i dont know . But when it gets process its a week process untill you get your money . HOW FRUSTRATING IS IT AS A STUDENT WHO DOESNT HAVE INCOME TO HERE A PROGRAM THAT IS MEANT TO HELP STUDENTS DELAY YOUR SOURCE OF INCOME ITS BEEN 2 months now !!!! How am I going to drive to school or pay rent or get groceries ????? And again the workers show no sense of urgency or compassion . I wish the national student loans left osap alone like how it was before because osap was way better and communicating with students and updating students and getting students they funds on a timely bases . But national students loans department could care less .Initial Complaint

I have been unable to obtain payment history in a timely manner. Request was put in 3/1/23 and they are unable to tell me when they will be able to provide this information. I am unable to reapply for my student loan forgiveness program due to not being able to prove that my loans have been repaid.Initial Complaint

Back In January 2022 I had called National Student Loan to correct the error delinquencies on my credit bureau from the beginning of 2020. They said it will be removed but 9months later it is still showing up. It is affecting my life tremendously as I cannot apply for anything. It's not just one error, there are multiple mistaken delinquencies showing up on Equifax. NSLS had Covid-19 debt relief program. I attached my payment history and the missed payments due to error from the Covid-19 student relief. National Student Loans portrays to help students who have student loans with their forgiveness payments. This company gets you under a contract as if his goes towards your student loans and it does not. Information I have are my payments made, dont coincide with my student loan payments paid and not reflecting in my student aid account. I have been taken twice, and what made me realize was when I actually gotten something at my job of the actual process for ************** Student Loan forgiveness. I am making this complaint because I want to see immediate action to correct the mistakes made by this company that have negatively affected my credit. On April 7th, 2022 I paid $180 to my ******* student loan through direction from NSLSC. I constantly call them and check my online portal to make sure that I am up to date on my payments. I found that I owed $180 to my ******* student loan and paid it to make sure that my credit would not be affected. I called NSLSC this morning to inquire about the drop in my credit and they confirmed that I DID pay $180 to my ******* loan on April 7th, 2022, however, on my credit report it says that that payment is still outstanding. This is an obvious clerical mistake that has seriously affected my livelihood and I want it corrected immediately. I have already taken steps to open an investigation into this mistake but am also filing this report because I need this taken care of as fast as possible. It is unacceptable that this company has the ability to affect credit scores when they are so clearly struggling to keep up with volume.Initial Complaint

NSLSC contacted me saying I missed a student loan payment. The payments come out automatically and there's money in the account so I'm not sure why they didn't get the money. When I tried to see why, the website was down.I tried calling NSLSC. They asked for my SIN (which I provided), birthday (which I provided), and my loan number. I don't know my loan number and the automated message told me I could get it by logging into my account. However, I can't login to my account because their website is ALWAYS down. So basically, I missed a payment which has added more money to my loan, and I can't get in contact with them because I don't have one piece of information, which I can't get because their website is down.It's an endless cycle of shitfuckery.Initial Complaint

I applied for the repayment assistance plan (RAP) as soon as I received notification it was expiring. I checked the status of my application every month. Today I received an email saying my application was denied because I did not respond to a request for additional information. I check all correspondence on their website, my email and indeed there is NO such correspondence from them. They are now bullying me into making payments that I do not have money to pay for. I tried to apply for a new RAP application and they keep locking me out of this option on their website. I wish there was some way to resolve this issue. I called them and they won't even let me speak to a supervisor saying that the Supervisor is busy. This is extremely frustrating and their practices are unethical and harmful. Someone needs to get them to stop issuing false allegations and blocking queries. This is not how a government agency should function.
