      They took $599 from me and nothing was done. Ibhave been scammed by this company I have been calling for months no reply no help.

      I tried their service and they have misleading advertisements in " 2 Free tradelines" and they offered a ********* discount I never received and the information is soo basic you can find on ******* and on internet. The 4th step are net 30 accounts that I already have. They did nothing for me to make my company fundable and SBA gave me a EDIL loan so I know alittle about building businesses. I informed them I was unhappy and wanted a refund in step 2, but they kept moving forward. On 5/31/22 they called me and told me they refused to give me my money back. This is a scam company with basic information and no lenders or trade lines. Everything they tell u you can find on internet.

      Ok first let me start by saying Im a starter of a small business and I was referred to spotlight funding for help get my business credit in order,the promised me 3 trade lines once I signed up they said 24 hrs to approval but I gave them a down payment of ****** dollars from my minimun wage jjob from taco **** trying to start my own business so I gave it a shot after three calls nothing so we lost contact and then they called me and ask me to take my other complaint down so I gave them another try and to my avail no luck so I'm not gonna let them do someone else like me it hurts like nothing that I've ever felt before , it sadden me that they would do a false advertising and just take my money like that and don't help me I mean I'm sickly shortly after that I contracted Covid 19 not once but twice just getting back to myself. So I came to think how and why would this happen and we already struggling in this pandemic. To be so heartless and cruel is in heard off , I just sit and cry cause I'm so heartbroken cause owning my business is a dream so now my dream has been short lived I don't have no more fight in me left I don't have the strength to put up a fight anymore so there go me trying to make a better life for my handicapped brother I don't have no mother or father many sshe rest in peace ??? I mean I know my mother heart is broken she asked us to promise her on her dying bed that we would look out for one another I tried to hold my end of the bargain I might as well be a failure I really wanted to make her proud I lost please some one help me, I would love to have my money back they haven't done nothing for me.       I would like to say that Spotlight Funding has done everything that was promised, and we have never mis represented what we do or how we do it.  Our admin department has spent countless hours helping you build your business credit. You are now more than halfway through the program,and we have successfully helped you achieve credit with 5 lenders to date. 
      We have continued to service your account even though we still have not received your final payment for our program, as you said you were unable to pay for it.
      We have called you 57 times throughout this process so far and when you changed your phone number or email address you did not let us know.
      When you signed up with our company, we asked you if you were an actively running your business, at which time you said you were.  We did not know that you were a minimum wage full time worker.  We work with responsible and professional active business owners.
      Regardless of our unfortunate experience with you we are still here to help should you decide to pursue your small business we are still here to help.

      How dare you all sit there with knowing what you all have done like its nothing which you all knows everything cause you all called and tried to send a couple emails to cover your trail and the nerves to say you all didnt know I was a minimum wage worker really and you all deal with professional and responsible people the lies one tell. And you all did not get me not one trade line so thats a lie also again also I still have the brouche that you all sent me with your lies Im gonna try my hardest to make sure this doesnt happen to know one else this is not over until I get my apology and the truth comes out by the way Im in it for the long run so lace up your shoes Im coming .

      i was told if i give them a ***** dollars and they will help my business grow an they promise me tradelines i never recieved the advertising is so misleading ******* a bad time as this and we have ppl still getting over on some ppl thats already struggling.

      I was told they would provide credit lines with credit history tradelines for my business as well as clients for $2,385. I paid then had to wait 2 weeks for next appointment by that time i was past the 3 day money back policy and wasnt worried because I thought they were being honest about their services they provided but after speaking to another representative she advised me they only help build new credit which is something I didnt need for myself or clients and was firm i was looking for authorized users for business lines on first call so when asked about a refund she stated she put in a request and i would be notified shortly snd two days i was sent a denial email because it was past 3 days. Despite they lied about what services they offered & I have no use in new credit they refused to refund me. Not only am I frustrated but have a client who paid into the package and also has no use for new credit.

      Asexplained, we build credit by establishingreal lines of credit in your business name.  The lines of creditautomatically report to the business credit bureaus.  We start our clients with lenders that will provideyour business with credit, even though your business has no creditreporting.  They will report your new credit and new paymenthistory.  We then follow up with larger lines of credit that will alsoreport to the business credit bureaus.  All in all, we go through 4different rounds of lenders.  We providelenders that have helped 1000's of companies establish high limit credit cards,working capital, unsecured lines of credit, equipment financing, retail andinventory financing, fuel and store tradelines, auto and truck loans etc. usingour credit builder program.  
      Welimit our cancelation policy for many reasons such as; if clients do not paytheir new credit on time it makes it difficult for us to help establish newlines of credit.  Additionally, we find that many business owners fromtime to time experience hardships and sometimes even close theirbusiness.  For many reasons that is out of Spotlight Funding'scontrol.  Our cancelation policy is in writing and was provided throughDocuSign.  We stand by ourcommitment to build your business credit as agreed.
      You mention in your complaint that you were told you werebuying tradelines.  This is not a good strategy for any business. You cannot fool **** and Mastercard into thinking that the Purchased Tradelineis your business history.  Lenders are too smart for that.  Yes, itis legal and will report on a company's credit however it will not trick thenext lender into believing you APPLIED FOR THE CREDIT, MADE ALL THE PAYMENTSAND HAVE YEARS OF CREDIT HISTORY by simply paying for a tradeline.
