Im in agreement with the mere fact they have all these complaints . We were told in our community we had to pay a one time fee of so much dollars and three months of an overinflated boa dues because of this and that bs ! I call it bs because they somehow now are saying that over inflated three months of how dues that were inflated will now be the norm !!!!!!! They barely return calls and it took almost 3 months for them to finally do the landscaping issue we had the right way . The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with for sure . All they do is have excuses with their replies over and over and over ! The mere fact that they not only took our community over a year or so , the hoa fees have never gone up so fast so quick ! NEVER . CANT WAIT TO HEAR THE ** RESPONSE ON THIS ONE .PATHETIC ,SAD COMPANY FOR SURE, GREED IS THE ONLY THING THAT DRIVES THIS COMPANY . Where to start. Poor management. Poor communication. Wasteful and wildly inefficient with use of funds. You can never get in touch with anyone. Since purchasing my house (which had existing hoa violations) they have not been helpful. We had a family friend who lost her husband due to him being hit by a drunk driver. She explained to these folks she just lost her main source of income and needed time. They ignored what she said and responded she had two weeks to fix her paint. This company has horrible customer ********************** and has completely ignored me for months. I wish our HOA would contract a company that actually cares about their customers instead. Theyre very disorganized, dismissive and rude.Review from Laura L

I wish there was a way to give a negative star. FSR has had such a high turnover rate with their PM team that our community had an option to have ****************** at our previous benefits before all the hikes for an additional 2 years, but the deadline to renew expired because we were without a manager. FSR is in bed with a law firm that has ill advised our community to the point of near bankruptcy. Our operating capital is depleted with the mismanagement of our funds. Our homes are in need of repairs, water damage and roof leaks that are the HOAs responsible to repair (condo) are being delayed. The vendors hired by FSR are doing shoddy work and causing even more damage to property owners. Whats even worse, its near impossible to hold them financially responsible for their mismanagement.FirstService Residential California LLC Response

Regarding the insurance policy renewal, homeowner expressed her belief that the carrier did not renew it due to FSR's oversight. However, I want to clarify that the policy was canceled solely due to the community's location and high wildfire score. This decision was made by the insurance carrier and was beyond the control of FSR or the Board.The policy was set to renew on November 1, 2022, management was notified about the non-renewal on September 15, 2022, and we immediately communicated this information to the Board. Since then, we have been committed to keeping all homeowners well-informed about the insurance situation through numerous townhalls and meetings on the topic. Additionally, we have sent out several communications to the membership to provide regular updates throughout this process.I want to acknowledge that obtaining adequate coverage for the *** has been a challenging and costly task. As a result, we had to utilize reserve funds to cover the cost of the insurance. We have and are continuously exploring viable insurance options to find the best possible solution for our community.Regarding homeowner's concerns about the vendors we use, this is the first time we have received a complaint about a vendors' performance from her. It would be valuable for us to have more specific details from homeowner regarding her concerns, so we can address them appropriately.Lastly, with respect to deferred maintenance, our most recent reserve study indicates that there is none. If homeowner has further questions or wishes to discuss these matters, we are always available to address her concerns directly.Please let me know if you have any questions or if you require any further information. absolutely the worse management Co I have ever had to deal with.as a homeowner in the *************** since 2006 I am going to *** for damages to my property. I have had no access to my garage for over 5 months. they have ruined my Deck and refuse to fix it with the same textured finish. the emotional stress, the lack of service is beyond belief.it took over 2 months to get them to fix a leak outside of my unit . I wonder what would happen if I was late paying my $650. dues Please do your homework before buying any property with this management ** in charge. My first review ever.Review from Joe C

The design review team at *** has terrible customer service. They dont answer the phone, dont return voicemails, and never return emails. Their main switchboard cant even get a hold of them by sending internal messages. They continue to send me letters in the mail stating I did not submit my architectural design completion report even though *** sent it vis mail and email over three times. They even charged me over $300 in fines. There is no way to get a hold of anyone on the ******************* team.FirstService Residential California LLC Response

This resident did complete some modifications to his home, and has submitted documentation which has been received and forwarded to the appropriate parties for review and approval. We have communicated this status to the homeowner and provided him with an expectation of response time from the parties which will be reviewing his application. We have additionally provided direct contact points for all members of the team to ensure that any future needs are able to be met promptly and to ensure no gaps in communication. Oh man..where do I even start? One star is being too nice, I'm looking for the negative stars here..First Service? More like NO SERVICE!! It's like dealing with ghosts. The workers here are horrible!!My husband and I have been emailing them regarding a noise complaint on our neighbor and it's been months of circling around with no resolution. These workers are unresponsive and they don't even bother picking up their phones either. They just take our money and do nothing.They don't even listen or care about our concerns as residents. They sure as **** don't even maintain the community like trimming the trees..until it gets really bad. And something's been going on with the water flow outside our neighborhood that's making the water turn into a swamp looking thing. It's disgusting..of course, FirstService would be the last one to do anything about it.Seriously..how can this company still be in business? From the Regional Director: For this HOA, noise complaints require 2 owner’s signatures from 2 separate addresses to pursue a violation that cannot be witnessed on a manager’s site walk. Despite not receiving 2 separate complaints, I did investigate this issue by visiting the upstairs neighbor on June 15th and did not find anything out of the ordinary. I offered to also visit the renters downstairs, but Melanie and Brian indicated that the noise only occurs between 10 pm and 5 am, so my daytime visit would not be appropriate. Also, they did not cite loud music or television, only cited living noises and said their upstairs neighbors are stomping around. I also held a special executive meeting with the Board in order to discuss this issue and complaint with the upstairs neighbor on June 22nd to discuss possible solutions and next steps. As noise is very subjective, and some level of noise must be expected in a condominium living situation, and there have been no other complaints from previous renters of the same unit, the Board will attempt to gather more information and evidence. Regarding the flooding issue, I also noted this on my site walk on the 15th and issued a work order #992696 to the Association’s contracted landscape provider, and Allied completed the irrigation repair the next day.
