Contacted organization prior to enrolling to obtain practice/game time info and how the league operates. Flyer indicated season began Mid-Nov and would run to Mid-Feb with a pre-season practice and post-season tournament. Indicated 10 games, a team and a coach. Actual season started 12/4/21. First day was no instruction and parent only meeting/uniform distribution. Of the 10 games only 6 were played. entire season the 1st grade side had one "floating" coach for 4 teams of approx 10 kids. Scrimmages played not actual games with no score kept. Relied on parent helpers with (for our team) had no/limited knowledge of the sport and did not teach any fundamentals. Rotation of play time did not occur evenly or effectively. Floating paid coach would spend approx. ten minutes advising on drill and then switch to the other teams effectively not monitoring improvement or grasp of knowledge which is the point of enrolling in the league. Commissioner of the league refused to make up missed games or provide a prorated refund for 4 missed games/no post or pre season instruction or game play. cancelled practice/games was given last minute notice and makeup not given for all missed instruction. Add in their "holiday" breaks and approx. a month and a half played of a three month season paid for. Flyer VERY misleading and communication is poor. Very disorganized operation. League can't blame COVID (year two of it) when other leagues are operating fine and within the same restrictions, it comes down to management of the league or failure to do so. after the fact found several negative YELP reviews on the same organization for the same complaints. Did not get services promised for price paid based on their own advertisement of services.
