I'm extremely concerned with how they approached me. First they said that any day now my cards would be shut down. They also never told me to STOP making credit card payments. Which in turn will put my credit cards into delinquency and an even higher debt amount BEFORE settling. This is important to know and not even in their welcome package does it state this. My cards are in fantastic standing and they want me to put them into horrible standing before they settle. They said their average settlements roughly 55%. Well 55% of 10k debt is much different than 55% of 15,000 due to delinquency and non payment with interest rates incurring. The gentlemen who "sold" me into the program put fear into me that my accounts would be closed literally the next day if i did not join this program, this is not true. This is so far from the truth and is EXTREMELY predatory. Why is this not true? They cant settle unless i go delinquent. I cant go delinquent if I don't miss payments. If i don't miss payments they wont close my accounts. I have 0 missed payments, good standing accounts, simply an 88% usage rate. When I called the company the lady gave me literally pre written statement as if the information she gave me clarified my concern. She could not tell why i was never told to stop making credit card payments. She just said "stop making payments, take your In Good Standing accounts and let them all go delinquent", so they can start negotiating. She would not nor could not send me a transcript of the phone call. The gentlemen who sold me into this stated he was getting commission off of my enrollment. If I were to cancel now and stop I have lost a total of 200$. I will update this review in 6 months while I continue to make payments to both my cards and them to see if what they said is true or not.
