Back in August 2015 I received a call from 1file.org to reduce my student loan debt or do away with it all together. I filled out their paper work and they guy called me back and said I qualified for loan forgiveness if I would pay them 250$ to process my paperwork and then 20$ a month for so may months I would end up paying almost 2000$ for my 5800$ loan. I did this and paid them 20$ a month until January of 2020 to have my student loans eliminated. Well I ran a credit report on myself last weekend and they did not take care of my loan. They took out a new loan in my name with a company I have never heard of in 2016 for 5800$ and it is now on my credit that I owe this loan. I paid them for their services 250 up front and 20$ a month for 5 years!!!! None of that money went on my student loan at all. And they automatically withdrew it out of my bank every month. Now im out almost 2000$ and have a loan on my credit report that I did not take out!!!!!
