On February 18, 2025, I purchased a battery from 1800-Battery, which was installed in my vehicle. Shortly after the installation, I began experiencing issues with my car starting. I took my vehicle to a shop where I was informed that the battery you sold me was ************ this point, I lost trust in your company and purchased a new battery elsewhere. I reached out to your customer service team to request a refund, but I was told that a refund would not be issued and that only a replacement would be offered. Your team claimed the battery possibly had a bad cell, but I find it extremely concerning that you installed a potentially faulty battery without checking it beforehand. Why would I trust a company that sold me a bad battery, then refuses to take responsibility for it and only offers a replacement? Your failure to acknowledge the inconvenience caused and your refusal to provide a refund is unacceptable.I am requesting a full refund for the defective battery I purchased, as I have no confidence in your companys ability to provide reliable products or service.

I purchased a car battery and installation online from car *************************** battery I pay $350 for a professional service that had a warranty not a month later my battery is completely dead in my Dodge Challenger. This is not a *** or a car that cannot stand a new battery buta car that is built to last especially with a new battery. I called to get my warranty on. It was told I had to pay another $150 was never told to me when I purchased the battery. I was also told that I couldve seen it on the website and sent the link. The link that I was sent is impossible for you to see as a consumer when youre checking out in this emergency of being with a car thats broken down and a battery thats dead. I have been disrespected by **************** I have been disrespected as a when you pay for a more expensive product you expect to get service you paid for I did not buy a $50 used battery but abrand new almost $400 Duracell warranty battery and I cant get it Fixed shame on this company shame in every way they dominate the Internet with adds when youre searching for a battery and installation and theyre offering a service that not good for most people well at least in my case you sold me a product fix it. Seems like they own by millionaires at least thats what the Internet says. When I look up a owner to speak to everyones not rich I cannot affordto pay for a battery more than once I cannot afford to pay $500 for a battery I could afford to pay for a battery that $350 brand new and had a warranty honor my warranty I will not stop. And just to be transparent as to why you dont treat customers just anyway its because you dont know their story you dont know what theyre going through. I am fleeing domestic violence. I almost lost my life. I paid for a expensive battery so that my car never breaks down from battery and Im safe. Now Im stuck and I dont know what can happen or could happen. My battery is completely dead it has a warranty and no one will help

I used the service on January 10 of 2025. The business promised they would come to my location, change out my dead car battery with a comparable battery for the price of ******. I believe I spoke to ***** to verify the order. We specifically went over the specs of my car's battery and the company confirmed they had one. The technician arrived and had been given a battery that only had 750 potential amps and is therefore incompatible with my car. The technician confirmed with the company that they had indeed given me the wrong battery. I had to purchase another battery, not from them and out of my own pocket, for the technician to install. The company stated they still had to charge me something "or we aren't making any money" and sent me an email confirming the charge would only be $125 and they would issue the ****** refund. I have been following up ever since and the company has not completed the refund. I went to complain via BBB and saw that there are around 20 complaints of them doing the same deceptive practice to other customers (ie. stating a refund is coming and them never refunding the money, stating the billing department will send them something and still never receiving the refund.) There are complaints on their reviews stating the same issue.

I Ordered a battery from one800 Battery .com it was Hybrid Prius Battery for a 2012 Prius They had scheduled a installation of the battery for Friday 2 Of August, the man that came to install my battery must have not known what he was doing and put my Prius into some sort of limp mode all of the lights on the dash were on after he installed the battery. Also, my AC did not turn on my throttle response on the car was off so I immediately took the car to a mechanic shop in ******************* right after he finished, put the battery in, the shop has told me that the battery was not built correctly and also that the man installed the battery did not install it correctly. I do have a diagnostic checklist from the company that I hired to do the diagnostic check but because of my car being unable to drive, and I am the sole provider of my family , I had to purchase another car so that I can get to work the following Monday and I am basically looking for him to replace my battery correctly and pay my $200 for the diagnostic check or refund my money and make sure my car was back to what it was like before he touched it and still refunding my $200 from the diagnostic check

On December 2, 2023 I used one 800 battery for battery surface I was charged $311. I had asked for the top of the line battery 51R battery which is on the invoice. approximately six months later, my battery is not holding a charge I call I need a warranty call because the battery I got had a lifetime warranty or three year warranty 150 thousand miles and they told me they would need to put a $99 hold to dispatch the technician. When the technician came out, he saw the battery that was put in there which was held in placed by a rock was not the correct battery. Yes, it did fit and it worked for six months. It must have a three year warranty. He told me that was a battery for like a 1990 ***** Civic not a 2010 ***** Accord The battery tested bad he replaced the battery with the correct battery and I shouldve been charged $50 was charged 104 not the 99 and it wasnt a hold. It was hard charged and was told they issued me a refund eight days later Im inquiring about the refund that has never come which they overcharged me Anyway And they told me there was an internal errors and to get back to me. I understand that the battery fit my car did it for six months, but it is not equivalent size or quality. I understand the website says different brands and things may very, but I would expect if Im paying $311. Im getting an equivalent size and quality battery , not a cheaper battery and being charged and then being overcharged and they told me the $104 it was taxes, but it wasnt taxes. It stated on their mileage or something which they did not disclose to me and which I did not authorize them to charge my card they told me they would need to have a credit card and place a hold for $99 to dispatch the technician. I am out $104 plus the 311 which they originally charge me and misrepresented. They have been unethical dishonest and have yet to refund me any money they have 400+ dollars of mine I Have been lied to and financially negatively impacted one full refund

I contracted for battery delivery and installation. When the technician arrived, I did not need a new battery. He fixed my connection and changed my invoice to a service call and promised a refund of $253.97 on 12/22/23. I was sent an invoice reflecting this after multiple requests on 2/15/24 and promised 1 to 3 business days for it to be returned to my card. I still do not have it and there is no way to contact anyone but the work at home call center reps. **** will not put me in touch with the billing department.

A contracted roadside tech came out to swap my battery on Feb 5, 2024. He could not do the work because of corrosion on the battery's terminals, which he wasn't comfortable with. !-800 Battery charged me about $370 for the service and told me that the charge would change to 99 for a service fee. They sent me a receipt for the 99-dollar charge, but the $370 charge never changed, and no refund ever came. I've called them three times over the past two weeks. Where they give me promises and receipts, but nothing ever happens.

At the beginning of August ****, 1800battery.com installed a new battery on our car for approximately $250. The battery was dead last week and is under warranty. However, the office via online chat requested my credit card for the installation fee for the battery replacement. They don't have an address where I can go to get my battery replaced. Also, I don't want to pay $99 to replace a bad battery. Its not my fault.Order # ***** purchased by *********************
