Purity Medical Products called our busy medical office and asked for the person who orders supplies. They proceeded to say that our glove supplier will not be able to ship any more gloves due to them being on backorder and state they "have set aside a small stock of gloves" for us to purchase. They make it seem like you have ordered products with them before - states things like "you have all the same billing info as previous", proceed to confirm the billing address, and then ask the quantity you want to purchase. We have never ordered products from them, but being busy and short-staffed and in the middle of patient care, they catch you off guard. We did order 1 case of gloves from them in the fall of 2023, quoted at $355. We did not receive this case of gloves for over 4 weeks. Fine - that is on us for not being aware of this scam, and that invoice was paid in October 2023. Fast forward to February 2024 - they call again and state "they are calling to confirm an order that was placed and want to confirm the sizing on the gloves and make sure we do not need any other sizes", making it sound like another order had been placed, when no other order had been placed, and we receive an invoice for $1,155.61 for 3 cases of gloves which we absolutely DID NOT order. We called the company to follow up on this and get some more information as to why we have an invoice for 3 cases of gloves, and when we questioned the invoice, the employee stated we did place another order. This company is a complete scam and if you ****** them, there are at least 5 reviews stating the EXACT same story about these glove orders. They call and purposely speak to any employee to "confirm" an order, and then the employee, who doesn't know any better, confirms. This is a calculated and well rehearsed scam and this company is completely taking advantage of busy medical offices. We WILL NOT be accepting any further shipments from this company and will not be paying for products we didn't order.
