I was a student with SynergisticIT for most of 2023. It is a bootcamp with a Java track and a data science track. I entered on false pretenses, and the program engaged in several deceptive practices. Here are some of the major problems:- SynergisticIT claims to do projects for clients and thus provide students with real-world experience. I never once did a project for a client. Instead, I did some projects derived from Kaggle, and staffers encouraged me to conceal this fact and present these project as having come from external clients.- They claim a 97.3% "student success rate", implying that this is probability that I should expect to be placed in a job. I see no substantiation for this claim.- They used brain dumps to prepare students for certification exams. This is illegal and unethical, as dumps are prohibited copyrighted material, and this is considered by certifying agencies to be cheating.- **** marketing candidates for jobs, they sent a resume on my behalf with several blatant falsified claims. I was unable to do interviews well because they required me to defend lies.I now have an income-sharing agreement which requires me to pay an additional $20,000. Due to SynergisticIT's blatant fraud and unethical behavior, I do not believe that I should be responsible for this payment, and I also believe that I should be refunded the $10,000 I have already paid because I chose to enter the program based on intentional deception from SynergisticIT.

Its correct ******* was a candidate with us and he took our data science track.

We have been doing upskill programs for past 12 years and have 1000's of successful candidates.

    **********************************************************

We also are very active in the tech Industry and sponsor big tech events where the top names in the tech industry converge

    ***********************************************************************

The high success rate is for people who complete our program and clear assessments and certifications. If they dont their success will be significantly reduced which happened in the case of *******.

******* himself has claimed he was with us for most part of 2023 during which he did multiple projects. We upskilled him and he got

Microsoft **************** BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
Microsoft **************** Data Scientist Associate (DP-100)

He did not get these certifications through practice questions alone we made him learn the technology and then we made him practice sample questions to get a feel of the questions asked.

TO get certified alone companies charge 1000's of dollars he got multiple certification and trainings through us

Majority of his batchmates got job offers and are working projects at salaries of $90-127k per year.

Also at no time we state that we will make our candidates work on live projects from clients we state we will make candidates work on scaled down versions of projects which simulate actual project work so they can contribute to clients from day one.

We never falsify details whatever details are mentioned are agreed upon and put by the candidate and we just present the resume to clients.

Issue arises when the candidate is unable to explain projects or give proper answers or clear technical interviews.

When most of the colleagues of ******* got job offers some of them even multiple job offers in such a down economy it proves what we are ding in terms of upskilling is working. We cannot please everyone however we are here to help people achieve tech careers.

We understand the frustration and we can help ******* get marketed again but then again we feel he must have already secured a Job. If not we can still help him.

Whatever was being told to ******* was clarified before he joined. If he was uncomfortable he should have stated so in the beginning of the program why was he waiting to for the whole program to complete take session on data science, machine learning get multiple certifications and now he says it was not good?

Doing one of our programs is equivalent to doing 4 bootcamps our results prove that. However we want candidates to also work hard. ******* had the least number of certifications amongst the batch and did not do well in our internal tests and assessments due to which he could not secure a JOb due to being rejected by clients.

We suggest he focus again and once he improves we can get him employed if he is already not. If he is employed which we feel he did achieve he needs to complete his obligation of paying our remainder fees which again proves the quality of our upskill programs

Our doors are always open to him.

I am rejecting this response because:

I appreciate the response, and it does address most of my complaints. However, the major remaining issue is SynergisticIT's claims to have a 97.4% student success rate. Can this figure be substantiated? The response merely said "most" students get placed. I believed the 97.4% number at the time that I signed the contract, and I would not have signed if I believed that the number was significantly less. I no longer believe the figure to be true, as it is well above industry norms, as there have been other cases of fraud (e.g. BloomTech) around job placement claims, and as it does not match the results from informal surveys I have taken of other students.

    Sincerely,

That's actually a good question. the 97.4 % claim is questionable however we can confidently stand behind that claim.

Important thing is to complete the proper certifications and clear assessments given by us using hackerrank and codility

Below are certifications which we prepared our successful candidates on, and they have 2 job offers even in such a miserable job market. It has to be to achieve scores of at least 70% or higher in assessments using hackerrank and codility and complete the certifications. We cant force clients to hire candidates however candidates who take care of the assessments and clear the certifications we can stand behind them and state they will be placed for sure and thats why we have the high success rate percentage.

Certified Professional in Python Programming 1 by Python Institute
Certified Associate in Python Programming by Python Institute
    Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
    Microsoft **************** Data Scientist Associate
Data Science Professional Certificate by IBM
Microsoft **************** BI Data Analyst Associate
    Tableau Desktop Specialist
SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming SAS 9.4
    Microsoft *************************** Specialist: Excel Associate

******* did 3 certifications amongst the below and when that takes place sometimes the resume doesnt gain enough leverage to get attention from clients and also when someone doesn't clear the necessary certifications and assessments well then, their skill and knowledge well is not up to the level which clients want.

There is no magic solution to getting a foothold in the tech industry work needs to be done, problems need to be solved and skills learned and certifications gained to show that how a candidate is better than other candidates.

We always stand behind our program and still we feel the skills which ******* gained should have been enough that he might be able to land a job offer.

Again we repeat the same question does he already have a Job offer or he still does not? If he does it again proves that our program enabled him to achieve the desired success whether we helped him get that job matter is immaterial because its our skill enhancement which enabled him to secure a job offer as he was with our program for most of 2023 and completed all topics and skills and technologies.

If not we can still help him achieve what he needs to gain and market him. We are always here for our candidates who join our program
