This company bought out my loan for my timeshare from another lender a few months ago. Since that time they keep telling me that my payments didnt go through and keep tacking on late fees. I called and they said they would fix it. Then I have received more billing statements indicating I owe late fees and a missed payment. I have not missed any payments and want this issue resolved immediately before they start affecting my credit score. I appreciate your help and assistanceInitial Complaint

I am not liable for this debt with FIRST CHOICE PORTFOLIO SERVICE. I don't have a contract with CONRAD CREDIT CORPOR. They did not provide me with the original contract as i requested.Initial Complaint

I am requesting the confirmation for a cancellation of our timeshare contract # ORVC-****. We started with a letter of request, This letter was met with no response from Conrad Acceptance Corp. I again gave notice of my desire, further detailing my claims of consumer right violations, misrepresentation, and overtly coercive sales tactics. Again, I got no response. Both these letters required the attention of Conrad Acceptance Corp as well as an adequate response. Since then, I have also sent over 12 letters, which again, were all met with no response.Initial Complaint

I have never used them eventhough they are calling my home. I have never been involved in a travel group of any sorts. I have asked them to stop calling my home. They are currently on my do not call list. They continue to harrass me and will not stop. At this point, I may have to choose to change phone number. I realize that they may get people who use their service and need payment. But I have never used there service and regardless of them saying that they have a sign contract. They obtained this debt and its not accurate at all. The amount is way off. Its also in my credit report twice on one and three times on another credit reporting. Ive tried to dispute it but it is not working. I have no info on this debt. Ive never received anything in the mail at my residence regarding such matter.Business response

The balance will change as interest continues to accrue. We will continue to attempt to contact the consumer and make payment arrangements, but we encourage him to reach out to our office to resolve.

I received a collection notice on 5/21/21 for a timeshare maintenance fee for 2020 and 2021, $531 annually. The notice I received from Conrad Credit is for $2580.20. I left voice mails for Conrad on 5/24 to inquire about the excessive balance they are seeking with no call back. On 5/25 I called again to dispute the balance. I requested itemized documentation. I was told information would be mailed to me. That paperwork never came. 6/2/21 I called Conrad Credit again to dispute the excessive balance. I was transferred to the the manager, *****. He was extremely rude and threatening to ruin my credit. He would not let speak. I requested itemization of charges. He said "I don't have to do that and if I put that together for you it will cost you $2580.20" He said if I attempt to dispute the charges I obligate myself to pay $2580.20 and am not entitled to an itemized list to explain charges. I will not pay thousands of dollars without explanation. This is not ethical business practice.Business response

THE COSNUMER RECIEVED VALIDATION NOTICE FROMCONRAD CREDIT IN WHICH SHE CALLED AND TALKED TO A REPRESENTIVE AND STATAED THATTHE ****SHARE WAS GIFTED TO HER, ANDTHAT SHE DIDNT WANT THE **** SHARE ANYMORE A SETTLEMENT WAS OFFERED TO RELEASEHER FROM HER OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY. WHICH SHE STATED THAT SHE WANTEDTO DO BUT WAS GOING TO CALL THE CLIENT FIRST TO SEE IF THEY WOULD GO ANY LOWER.THE CONSUMER CALLED BACK AGAIN AND SAID THAT BECAUSE THE ACCOUNT WAS SENT TO COLLECTIONS, THE CLEINT REFERED HER BACK TO CONRAD.
CONSUMER ACKNOWLEGED MULTIPLE ****S THAT THIS****SHARE WAS HERS BUT SHE DIDNT THINK THAT SHE SHOULD PAY FOR SOMETHING SHE WASNTABLE TO USE BECAUSE THE COUNTRY WAS CLOSED, CONSUMER THEN REQUESTED A BREAKDOWNBE SENT TO HER. IT WAS ALSO EXPLAINED TO HER THAT THE SETTLEMENT OFFERED WAS ACOURTSEY AND THAT IT DID NOT HAVE TO BE OFFERED AND THAT SETTLEMENT HAD A DUE DATE OF 06/31/21
THE BREAKDOWN HAS BEEN REQUESTED FOR THECONSUMER AND CAN TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE CLIENT AND WILL BE PROMPTLYSENT TO THE CONSUMER. AT NO **** DID THE REPRESENTIVE OR THE MANGER DISCUSS THECONSUMERS CREDIT OR HOW IT WAS GOING TO AFFECT IT
NO INDIVIDUAL FROM CONRAD CREDIT STATED THAT REQUESTINGDOCUMENTATION WOULD COST HER ANYTHING, THE AMOUNT THE CONSUMER STATED IN THIS COMPLAINTIS THE AMOUNT THAT WAS REFERED TO CONRAD CREDIT BY THE CLIENT AND IS THE ONLYAMOUNT THAT IS PAST DUE AND NO ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS WILL BE REQUESTED OTHER THENTHEN THE AMOUNT THAT HAS BEEN PLACED BY THE CLIENT FOR COLLECTIONSCustomer response

I have not received any itemization or any further correspondence from Conrad. It has been over a month since I called several times requesting itemization. I agreed to pay for 2020 and 2021 only, which should be just over $1000. They are billing me over $2500. I do not owe that. I also disagree with the statement that I was not told an itemized **** would cost me the $2580. *****, the supervisor 100% said that to me. He said "if I put that together for you you are obligated to pay the full amount" He also said if I try to dispute the charges I am obligated to the full amount. He was aggressive and threatening and did threaten my credit rating. No explanation of charges or any correspondence of any kind has been sent to me via mail, email, phone. This has in no way been addressed by Conrad.
