PLEASE, DO NOT buy an engine from this company. I bought an engine from them a few weeks ago. The goal was to save me some money. Turns out that the engine leaks oil. In order to get a replacement, they said I will have to take the engine out and ship it back to them so they can send a replacement engine to me. The problem is that it will cost money to take it out, ship it and have the replacement put back in. They told me that they won't cover the cost of labor. I tried to reason with them to have them issue me a partial refund or share the cost of repair for the engine so I could keep it. They refused and said that it is my problem, not theirs. This is very painful and indeed, I have learnt my lessons. Please, do not make the same mistake I made. It will cost you. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

All of our engines are sold with a no labor warranty. In a warranty situation we will send for the engine to be picked up and will ship out a replacement engine. We cover the shipping cost on our end. We just do not cover the cost of labor. This is stated as item #1 of our limited warranty.
1) Purchaser agrees that EngineWorld is not responsible for any cost of labor, parts, towing, installation, dismantling, reinstallation, transportation or freight claim, car rental, loss of work/wages, and/or any other related costs.
Please contact us by calling at ************ if you have any questions or would like to file a warranty claim and move forward with getting a replacement engine.

i ordered an engine for a jeep 5.7 hemi 4x4. before buying it they could not supply me with photos so i can verify that their engine is the same. When i received the engine spending over **** dollars it looked different. after putting it on an engine stand i saw that my engine parts would not bolt up to this engine. after 3 weeks the engine world knowing this fact and after blaming me for the mistake they finally agree that the engine is not usable to me. I ask for a refund and i have been getting the finger pointing run a round. I should charge them 100 per day to store their wrong engine. DO NOT BUY AN ENGINE FROM THESE GUYS. HAVING A PICTURE OF THEIR ENGINES WOULD BE SO EASY TO DO... EVERYONE HAS A CELL PHONE.Review from Abdul H

I bought a used engine from them but they sent me a rebuild engine after doing all work done found out the engine had problem They have done unprofessional job and dont care about peoples money and time very rude peopleReview from Marilyn C

BUYER BEWARE !! Should be renamed, Engine Wrecks !! Got an engine for my **** ****** Baja turbo, through my mechanic. Driven less than 700 miles and head gasket blew. Conveniently, the short warranty period was up. My mechanic finally got someone at Engine Wrecks to answer the phone. Refused to send a different Engine. Then get a phone call from the mechanic saying my turbo was burnt up. Then get another call, saying the heads are warped !!! My car is ruined !! I am out about $8,000 !!Engineworld Response

We are Engineworld.com. We are located in the **********************. There is another company with a similar name located in *****. Please provide your invoice number so we can check on the purchase. It would start with # **xxxx. Located in the top right-hand corner of our blue Engineworld invoice. We have no problem assisting if it is something purchased from us. We have a full call center answering phones all day, so we are easy to get ahold of at ************. I would give ZERO star if I could. Just purchased 2010 Mini ****** engine and had it installed which is not cheap!!!!!!! I trusted the company selling the engine and come to find out after it is installed it is running codes. Opened it up and found rust everywhere and is c*** Refunded my money but wont even split labor cost for selling me a BUNK MOTOR. Horrible company and not to be trusted
