If I could I would give them 0 stars! I was lied to by the salesman at the door. I asked for a one time treatment each fall for ants and was told that wasn't customary but it was OK. I made the MISTAKE of not reading the contract off his I pad before signing since it was a hot day and I didn't want him standing in the heat. He wrote a normal contract (4 times a year) at $119. I figured since I paid the $50 for my discounted first service I would let them spray but thereafter I told him once a year only. He told me someone would come back in 30 days and just check to see how the first treatment went. He made it sound like a favor for the first time spray but I was charged $119.00 for that. When I called them they would do nothing so I protested the charge with my charge card. After 30 days I was sent a letter saying the issue was resolved in my favor. Instead of accepting that the company charged my card the same $119 again and turned me over to a collection agency. I was sent to the collection agency before the credit card had a chance to resolve the issue. I've never heard of such a thing. The pest control company had 30 days to respond to my credit card company and work this issue out. Instead they just sent me to a collection agency. I told them I was happy to pay the $119 if they came out the end of September and did the treatment I originally asked for. They refused. They did void the $100 late fee which I felt was the least they could do for the lying salesman but the office rep. felt that was enough and that I still owed the $119. It seems really odd to me that the company would not want to solve this problem just from a PR point of ********* is sad that they do not have any integrity. In regards to this claim customer admits they signed for a one year agreement. If a customer only wanted a onetime service that is what we would of done. The cost for that is $329 not $50. All Customer are called and sent a welcome to fast action letter going over the service agreement. Attached is what was sent to the customer.
Welcome to **********************! We wanted to reach out to welcome you to our service and thank you for choosing us for your pest needs! We know you have a lot of choices and we plan to make your decision to choose a local, family owned company the right one.
At Fast Action, we pride ourselves on quick response and quality service. Your satisfaction is our job, so please know that throughout your year long agreement which includes the scheduled initial service and six regular services, we are committed to return to your property anytime free of charge. Your regular service is set to occur every three months(quarterly). Your discounted initial is just $50. Your regular service is only $119 quarterly and will begin approximately 30 days after the initial clean out service. Your billing frequency and schedule will match the signed agreement on file. Our regular services combine the latest treatment methods with our signature back fence to home to curbside dewebbing, wasp nest knock down, and more. If problems exist within the home, our highly trained technicians will take special care to rid these intruding pests by combining the latest technology and techniques. After the initial year, the service will continue service to service for as long as you continue choosing Fast Action. As stated in the agreement, any cancellation before the initial year is complete will result in a charge of $100 or the discount off the standard initial service price, whichever is less.
Again, we know you have choices in your pest service and we will strive to earn our keep. We just ask that you let us know if something is missing and we will return free of charge to address it at the earliest convenience. Also, for your convenience, Fast Action offers additional services at a separate charge if you ever encounter termites, bird nesting issues, rodent exclusion, and more.The customer did not notify us until after her second service was completed and stated she thought it was a one time service. we waived the cancel fee but not the service fee since we did completed the service and she new she signed for a one year service.. I think we were pretty fair by waiving the cancel fee since she stated there was a misunderstanding but we will not waive the service fee.

We had a rep come out and sale us on a verbal deal that included no cancellation fees. We had moved into a new development and there were many different companies trying to gain our business. We don't like contracts that include fee's because you never know what can happen and to pay for services we don't receive is nothing we want to do. The guy was super talkative and insisted they were the best company. Turns out, we needed to cancel due to a move out of state. 2 months before the end of a 1 year contract. We called to cancel and got told it was $100.00. After being told that we signed a contract and that in the fine print it said this it didn't matter what we were told verbally. We should have read all the fine print. The woman on the phone put my husband on hold to talk to manger - she came back and said it was our choice not to pay and she would send us to collections if we didn't and oh, the rep who sold us the contract was not longer with the company. We have 2 months left. That's $80.00 for the 2 months. We have to give 30 day notice to cancel. That would mean 1 month left which $40.00 but this company, on top of being completely unwilling to honor a verbal agreement with no cancellation and the fact that the screen we signed didn't blaring state the signature agreed to paying cancellation fees - they want $100.00 and to argue their point. The customer service is cold and I imagine the response from the company will be 'you did sign, and your bimonthly receipts show the terms of ********************* How do we know this wasn't doctored by the company? You can take an electronic signature and reproduce it on anything! This is completely ridiculous and we are shocked at the treatment of this company over $40.00 we would have to pay for a service we will not be here for.Fast Action Pest Control Response

Goodmorning, After reviewing your account it shows that you were signed up on 04/14/21 at 4pm. At that time an email was Sent to you and it showed that it was opened and reviewed through our system. We then called you at 4:21pm on 4/14/21 and went over what the service includes, price per service and cancellation fee if you decided to cancel before the year. This is standard practice on all new account so our customer understand what they are getting and to ensure they were not promised anything special from our reps. we respect all of our customers and value their business and never want to mis lead them,But unfortunately we have no notes from the sales rep or from the customer stating they were told that that could cancel at any time with out a cancellation fee until the customer wanted to cancel. We don't mind splitting the difference on the cancel fee if that would help the customer.Review from Aria R

Fast Action Pest Control sale representative made me sign a one-year agreement that I did not agree for. Basically, not reading the fine print. The young man knocked on our door for explaining their product for the spider and ant problems on our front yard and back yard. I agreed to pay him one time for $60 because it was a hot summer and I felt bad for this ***************** so he can make a sell. Not knowing that he made me sign one year contract and I repeated to myself that I do not want a contract. He said no problem this is only one-time charge. I saw a **** today on my email for $195 because I signed up for one year contract. This is Misleading ppl the way this company does business. I hope this does not happen to other people in the future.Fast Action Pest Control Response

Hello, Per this review all services are confirmed by our front office and technicians before services are rendered. We also Send a copy of the service agreement for the customers records which he opened 8 times from what our systems shows. We completed his first service 7/30/21. He then called us in August for a reservice where we came out on 8/25/21. If this was only suppose to be a one time service why would he call in for a free service? When we showed up to due his scheduled service on 10/19/21 he threated to call the police on our tech and said if he didn't leave the property he would cause harm to our employee. When Speaking to the customer on the phone he was very hostile and would not allow anyone to speak. He admitted to signing the one year agreement and stated he is a used car salesman and he knows how things work and we need to cancel the agreement and waive the fees or he will file bad reviews which he did.Review from Adedayo A

Fast Action Pest Control gave me an estimate that was over $11,000 more than an estimate from another company. Both estimates were for the same amount of work. Beware of this company. I wouldn't trust anything they say and I wouldn't trust them to do any work on my home.Fast Action Pest Control Response

Unfortunately this customer is upset that we can not provide him with a clear report with the work not completed on his home. We apologize if this customer is upset with our pricing. Our estimate provided is based off of the cost of labor, materials and lumber.
