I took my car in to have a new headliner put in. Upon returning the car to me the convertible top no longer worked correctly and the next day it stopped working. I brought it back to them and told them the problem. At first, they tried telling me they didn't do it because they didn't need to open the top. I told them they couldn't have installed the liner without using the top. Then they said it was because it was an old motor. They said they would pay half to repair it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it is an older car. Since getting the car returned it has sat in my driveway under a car cover. It has been driven twice to the Dr. and washed twice and then returned to my drive and covered. I went to take it out a third time and the top didn't work again. I took it back to *** and asked how a brand-new motor isn't working again already? Now they are trying to tell me it's because the drain plug for the top is clogged and it drown the new motor for the top. I explained there is no possible way anything could have gotten into the compartment to clog the drain in that short amount of time. If that was the problem, then its whatever they left in the compartment when they repaired it the first time. The car is 14 years old, and it never plugged ** in all those years? now in just a few months after they worked on it did? If was existing debris they should have cleaned it out while they were in there the first time. I live on all paved roads. the car has never been down a dirt road. I don't park it under tree's and it is always covered. After explaining all this to the manager he told to go file a complaint. So here we are. They also stole the very expensive rear view mirror and replaced it with a bad one. I know they replaced it because it has a part number in the box I saved when I bought it. Not to mention they start going bad over time not over night. It gives you a warning. Lastly, They also took the lower engine cover too. Thieves!

I have recently learned about the ***** warranty coverages that *** are offering for those who owns these types of vehicle. I **** a 2008 328i ***** edition. Ive been having problems smogging this car for two years now. check engine would pop up my mechanic would replace them and yet another emmision code would pop out. its never ending . So i recently learned that my car has only 130k miles on the clock , hence , it falls under the ***** warranty coverages. So i called NIELLO BMW ELK GROVE and spoke to Service adviser ****** ****** which i brought in the following day Friday April 30th. I was advise by ****** that she will keep me posted sometime this day . Waited all day Friday and sent out a text for a reply but did not get any reply from ****** or any body from NielloCustomer Service Dept. .So ive waited the next day and send her aother follow up to get status but didnt get nothing. so 3 days gone by and finbally i got a reply from ****** on Monday . I was happy that i finally got a response from her . sad to say that this report is showing i have to "Pay $5000 dollars to clear my check engiine light on. Now this really FRUSTRATING and I felt like this ****** is clearly not trying to cover what is promised by *** concerning ***** cars. Whats is goin on here , I bring my car for *********************** and They asking me to to changed my ***** case seal and break pads so my car could pass the smog test.....This is ubsurd !! The check engine light currently in my car is emmision control faults and they are directly related to the ***** parameters . All I want is for *** to Fix my car so it can pass smog . Can ******* PLEASE point me to the right directions please Who do i escalate this issue with *** ?
