On the day of Monday January 3rd econo Lodge in El cajon 588 North ******** I have paid for 4 days after New Year's and I paid on the day of Monday and then I paid for the next following day but that night I was awaken by a visitor somebody knocking on my door harassing my door banging on my door so I called the operator of the hotel they came and escorted the person away then they call me back said that the person knows my name and they can't have this problems and they're going to call the police and they don't know what's going to happen to me but I'm the one calling going through the proper channels then they tell me that they can't rent to me anymore and the day that I paid for Tuesday the 4th they're going to disregard it cut it off take it back with just assumptions and I went through the proper channels calling the operator somebody's knocking on my door I don't know who it is I don't and then they talking about they didn't want no trouble the police going to be called and so they plan on keeping my deposit most likely and I don't think it's fair and I don't think I should be ran off because someone doesn't know how to handle their own business job and they can't refund and take back something that I pay for when I committed no crime and I'm just mentally disabled and I have a service animal and they lightweight harass me about that so I have to leave in the morning and with a day I already paid for not know if they're going to refund me back cash or play games and try to put on a card when I don't have a place to stay and I'm trying to reach corporate and these people I see the practices they're not very business like and I hear reputation of them keeping people's deposits which are hundred dollars money is tight right now so I don't think that they can take back something that you already paid for when you ask for their help and they can't don't know how to do their jobInitial Complaint

I purchase a room at the econolodge paid for an extra Key so my son could enter the room I locked myself out of the room went to the office asked them to open the door for me and they wanted to charge me once again for another keyInitial Complaint

Hi BBB,On 31 July 2021, we booked a "Non-smoking" room at this ********* ChoiceHotels.com for $222.33.We checked in a little past 11pm and the room had cigarette smoke in it, along with a cockroach and spider. We spoke to ***** from the front desk and was transferred to ******, who said they had no more rooms and couldn't process a refund.We have a 1 year old baby and 6 year old with us.We called Choice Hotels and after 1.5 hours on the phone, the lady we spoke with said the same. So after getting off the phone, we gave the room keys to ****** to formally check out at around 12:30am.Initial Complaint

The room230 has A bug infestation bedbug infestation My girlfriend found bedbugs in the refrigerator 2 minutes after we checked into the room. We had a complaint immediately after ,but sadly the front desk employees didnt seem to care if anything I feel like they know about the bug problem. They just dont care because they dont have to stay at the hotel. I have videos of me killing bed bugs on my phone, Ive already tried to upload them but for some reason I cant upload the videos. I can send the videos upon request I stayed at 07/24/2021 And left on 07/27/2021 I paid the hotel the amount of ******
