As I work from home a lot, I started to see last Friday that it wasnt cooling down the house and it continue to go up with every hour. Majority of the time it was 85+. I proceeded to call my home warranty and set me up with an homestead out of *****. I spoke with the business and the owner said it would be $200 to even come look at it on Saturday on top of the deductible I had to pay with the home warranty place. I obviously paid because I didnt want my vacation to be completely ruined. He and his son came out to my house on Saturday and said, youre low on Freon so it must be that, Ill fill you up. Then he left. He was at my house a total of maybe **** minutes. He didnt fo any check of anything other than that. It was cool for another hour or two and then went back to doing what it was doing. Fast forward to Monday, he came again and said I was being unrealistic on what I wanted the temperature to be at, and that I shouldnt tell him how to do his job. He then took of the cover of the ** unit and said it was sparking and I had a short in my wire( which he said he fixed). The ** worked for one day after that, and then went back to being hot. After this, I was ****** and called and told him to come back. He then said, I had a s*** product in a ****** nest and that he had hundreds of them he throws away and it MUST be that. He then gave me a s***** old thermostat and said that should fix it. Once again, it worked for one day, then started to get hot. I have now called the company and let them know I do not want to do business with someone as unprofessional as he was and how argumentative he was just doing normal talking. Business isnt done by degrading your clients. Its insane they have been in business this long. Thank you!
